The truth about Democrats and Black Voters is that Democrats need black voters, but black voters have yet to figure out they don't need Democrats. Democrats have done little to advance the living standards of the black man, if fact, progressive policies have kept the Black Man in his place and assured his continued support of the Democratic Party! It's true, the Republican party begin to bribe the black voter following the Civil War with their infamous "40 Acres and a Mule" policy. A program that did enable poor freedmen to produce their food and buy basic necessities. But today's Democrats offer free stuff with not strings attached. No need to work for those daily essentials, just sign on the dotted line to get those food stamps, free phones, and free healthcare. All you need to qualify is to continue to vote for Democrats.
