Another red flag goes up on the "Public Option". Many constitutional experts are now saying that forcing people to buy health insurance may be unconstitutional and a stretch of the "interstate commerce clause" in the constitution. Of course constitutional scholars on both sides of the issue will disagree with those favoring a strict constructionist view coming down against the "public option" and those on the liberal side saying that the "public option" falls under the interstate commerce clause. Unfortunately the issue cannot be decided until a law is enacted and then only after some years following a challenge will the issue finally land in the lap of the U.S. Supreme Court---this is how our system works. It has it faults, but there is nothing better around. This should, however be a valid debating point in the upcoming discussions in the Senate and the U.S. House. We haven't heard much on this but it is time to bring it before the people---the judicial process just takes too long and often decisions are not reached until long after the damage is done.
I've been fair to both sides now let me tell you what I really think about those judges who give liberal interpretations to the constitution. Those judges who presume to tell us what the founders were thinking and not what the founders put down in writing. Hell I can't tell you what my wife is thinking half the time and they judges in their black robes presume to tell me what Jefferson was thinking over 200 years ago, bullshit! Let the words on paper, the words in the Constitution, speak for the founders. These stupid, and they are stupid judges are in effect telling us that the founders were dumb in that they didn't know how to put their thoughts into words and that they(these modern judges) really know what the founders meant to say, but couldn't because of some unknown impairment, so they will provide the words, words that fit their personal agenda's whatever that maybe be from year to year and day to day. To those liberal members of the Supreme Court who have such great insight, such great vision that they know what a man who has been dead for over 200 years was thinking when he wrote sometime entirely different, I say, "damn you're smart guys, teach me how to do that so I can find Long John Silver's buried treasure."

The requirement that everyone buy health insurance -- a central element to President Obama's health care plan -- is flatly unconstitutional, legal experts argue.

"At the heart of this plan is an unprecedented imposition on individual liberty," constitutional attorney David Rivkin told FOX News.

The constitution allows the federal government to regulate interstate commerce but Rivkin argues the insurance requirement is just an attempt to dictate personal behavior.

"What’s unique about here is the mandate imposed on individuals merely because they live," he said. "Not connected with any economic activity, not because they grow something, make something, compose something. Merely because they live. And this is absolutely unprecedented."

During the Prohibition era, the federal government dictated personal behavior by making the consumption of alcohol illegal. But to do so, the nation had to pass a constitutional amendment.

Health care reform depends on the individual mandate, in part because it needs the money and good health of younger people to fund the system and spread the risk.

"When you're 25 and healthy you think you're invincible. You think you're never going to get sick, never going to get into an accident," said Doug Kendall of the Constitutional Accountability Center.

And so young people don't buy insurance. But if one gets into an accident and runs up huge medical bills, taxpayers foot the bill, Kendall said.

"The fundamental point behind pushing people into the private insurance market is to make sure that uninsured individuals who can pay for health insurance don't impose costs on other tax payers," he said.

Kendall argues the interstate commerce clause justifies such action because it regulates insurance and health care. But when the Clinton administration wanted an individual mandate in the 1990s, the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office also called such a requirement "unprecedented."

"The government has never required people to buy any good or service, as condition of lawful residence in the United States," congressional budget officers said.

Obama Draws Criticism for Pausing to Promote Chicago Olympics Bid
The White House announced Monday that the president will travel Thursday night to Copenhagen to make a personal appearance before the International Olympic Committee to promote Chicago as the host city for the 2016 Summer Games.

President Obama is taking his eye off the ball, his critics say, chiding him for his plan to travel to Denmark to make the case for having his hometown of Chicago host the 2016 Olympics.

Vast Right-Wing Conspiracy

Here we go again that "vast right-wing conspiracy" is back and this time its Bill not Hillary who is sounding the alarm. To a certain extent Bill has it right, but I would contend it a "Vast Grass-Roots Conspiracy" that's directed at Barack (the usurper) and I'm proud to be a member of that conspiracy or maybe conspiracy isn't the correct word as that's something usually done in secret and here well everything is above board., unlike the secrecy that surrounds the Obama White House. Clinton says in the below article that those in this grand conspiracy want Obama to fail---that we do. WASHINGTON -- Bill Clinton said a vast, right-wing conspiracy that once targeted him is now focusing on President Obama.

The ex-president made the comment in a television interview when he was asked about one of the signature moments of the Monica Lewinsky affair over a decade ago. Back then, first lady Hillary Rodham Clinton used the term "vast, right-wing conspiracy" to describe how her husband's political enemies were out to destroy his presidency.

Bill Clinton was asked on NBC's "Meet the Press" whether the conspiracy is still there. He replied: "You bet. Sure it is. It's not as strong as it was because America has changed demographically. But it's as virulent as it was."

Clinton said that this time around, the focus is on Obama and "their agenda seems to be wanting him to fail."

Was watching Sean Hannity this past Friday night as he interviewed two girls who had taken part in the recent violent G20 protest in Pittsburgh. These two students both from a nearby university, where one was a graduate student in a doctoral program, were asked why they were participating in the demonstrations where some violent incidents have occurred and what their view on that was. Both indicated they did not take part in the violence, but at the same time refused to condemn it. This was to be expected. Then Hannity went on to question the two about capitalism and both quickly condemned it and went on to call for a re-distribution of wealth. This apparently is their real goal. They basically say that 200 very wealthy people in the world control 99% of the wealth and that if that wealth was taken from them by taxation and re-distributed that each person in the world would have an additional $40,000 dollars. I've tried to see how they came up with that figure but I'm lost. But the girls believed that to be a fact and something that would solve many of the problems faced by the poor throughout the world. Hell, lets say these two are correct about the $40,000. So let us take that money and re-distribute it(that is after all Obama's philosophy). Now what happens? First, did we create any more wealth(that is, real wealth--food, clothing or shelter) the answer is quickly obvious to any thinking person. We only moved dollars from a small group of people to a much larger group of people---that's all! Can I take the $40,000 and go out and buy more food---only for a moment, whats for sell will quickly vanish. Can I buy a new car, better run to the car lot---they will all be gone in about 5 minutes, assuming there are any salesmen there---they are all out buying what they can at the quickly emptying store shelves. Who will pick the next vegetables for the dinner table, not the migrant workers for they will be basking in their new found wealth---the $40,000 they were given. Damn no one's working, no one's producing and the bosses could care less---the more they make the more the government takes. I could go on and on, but you get the idea. Sadly these two girls on Hannity's show did not and they are both in graduate school at one of our great universities the future leaders of our country, the hope of the next generation---oops!!! So here my friends you have the youthful Obama voters, here you have our finest, here you have the enlightened youth, they are no longer the "Pepsi Generation" but rather the new hip multitasker's who can "flip you off and chew gum at the same time!!!

The Judgement of Obama

Obama is about to face one his toughest foreign policy decisions. Does he send some 30,000 plus more troops into Afghanistan or does he continue on the current path where we are in a no win situation. If he complies General McChrystal's request he angers his base the extreme left in this country, if he continues the war with the forces that are there the outcome will be uncertain at best and could be a disaster. This will not be an easy call.

As I see it we must jump in with both feet and use all our resources and push for some type of quick victory or just get out. The latter does not seem to be a good choice in that a withdrawal would give the Taliban and al Qaeda a platform to launch future attacks against our homeland not to mention that the terrorist throughout the world would declare a great victory and new recruiting posters would go up hailing their great victory over the United States. There are no good solutions to this problem and this is one where Obama will have difficulty in straddling the fence, something he usually does. I believe however, that unlike King Soloman, Obama will split the baby and the war in Afghanistan will become even a more protracted conflict and American causalities will increase to a point where the public will no longer support our effort there and in the end we will leave the field to the enemy. The world is watching and the clock is ticking!

Gen. Stanley McChrystal, who is expected to request 30,000 to 40,000 additional troops, met with Joint Chiefs Chairman Mike Mullen at Ramstein Air Base in Germany, FOX News has confirmed.

Adm. Mike Mullen, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, received the widely anticipated troop request Friday from the top commander in Afghanistan, aides told FOX News.

Mullen, accompanied by Gen. David Petraeus and other top military officials, met at Ramstein Air Base in Germany with Gen. Stanley McChrystal, who is expected to ask for 30,000 to 40,000 additional troops. Mullen is now headed back to the U.S., FOX News has confirmed.

Mullen asked McChrystal for the meeting earlier in the week following the leak of McChrystal's strategic assessment to hear directly from his commander what resources and how many troops he will need to succeed in Afghanistan, aides told FOX News.

"He wanted to understand the request for himself before it arrives in Washington and he is asked to discuss, defend it," an aide told FOX News.

Defense Secretary Robert Gates is expected to receive the troop request Friday. But Gates will hold onto the request until the White House and Pentagon get to a "proper stage" in their assessment of the war in Afghanistan, a Pentagon spokesman said earlier this week, explaining that it is premature for the request to be considered until the assessment is fully reviewed.

Progressive Racism

Progressive racism is being spewed from the university campus, from the halls of congress, from the MSM, from the high schools, and from the many hate sites on the Internet. Sadly it is all done in what many have referred to as a post racial America. Those on the American left cannot afford to let this issue die, they cannot just let it fad away. They have far too much invested in this issue. In the major metropolitan areas without this issue they would lose tens of thousands of voters. Those on the left are race-baiters and play the race card in every debate. Its always there fall back position when they begin to lose their arguments on radical positions they can defend no other way. Many of the white leaders of the so-called progressive movement (I say so-called progressive, because this movement is not new its very old and anything but progressive--it is regressive) have nothing, nothing at all in common with the black masses. They see the black man as a means to an end and will toss him aside when it become expedient. The black vote has always been cheap to buy. Liberal politicians have known this for years. The 40 acres and a mule ruse has evolved over the years to the food stamp, to affirmative action, to free medical care, and of course the all encompassing "free lunch". What has been the cost of all these free hand outs? Little to the politicians (they use others money to foot the bill); but to the black man these give aways have cost him his dignity, and his self-esteem, and to many his political freedom. Many blacks feel an obligation to vote for these unscrupulous political leaders who have promised much, but delivered only misery to the poor black. Keeping the black man down is the goal of many leaders on the left, for its only in keeping them down that they will continue to have their support.

The progressive left finds its support among the poor and those elitist who feel responsible for the economic conditions of poor blacks. Sadly, this assumption by some progressives is correct, in that their policies have led to this situation among the poor blacks. Those well-intended elitist on the left are caught in a vicious cycle from which there is no escape. They offer a hand out, thinking it is a hand up. The reality of their position escapes them. But there is another group on the left, a far more dangerous one. These leaders know the reality of there positions and all they are seeking is power, power at any cost to achieve their ends. Our current president falls into this group. Obama will use what means it takes to increase his power, he will quickly toss aside anyone, any group who stands in his way as evidenced by his abandonment of a life long friend and mentor, the infamous reverend Wright.

Finally, racism does exist and will always exist. Racism is found on the right as well as on the left. The big difference in contemporary America is that many on the left encourage racism and rely on the "race card" to advance their political agenda. They will continue to keep the black man down, not because they feel that's where he belongs; but because is doing so they have created a cause for those naive whites who follow their progressive beliefs. And the poor black, well he will remain a victim. Not a victim of racism from the right (as was the case for many years in the south and throughout the nation); but a victim of a far worse form of racism by those who seem to be offering a hand up, while at the same time keeping the poor black down for political reasons. Failure of the United Nations

The United Nations of today is NOT the United Nations of Roosevelt or Churchhill, if those two men were alive today most in the UN would be calling for them to be tried as war criminals and condemned for there actions during WWII. The UN of today is totally dominated by the forces of rampant nationalism, neo-socialist, and neo-communist. These forces totally control the General Assembly and therefore most actions of that organization. The security council has become powerless to act because each of the five permanent members has a veto and all seldom agree on anything. This UN funded primarily by the United States is an organization that hates this country and the state of Israel and no longer represents the views of the average American citizen, but has the views of the radical American far left and I should add the views of the current administration who sadly are part of the hate-America crowd. We have in Obama, a president who is in lockstep with the UN and not with the people of his own country. You know something is wrong when when the radical leader of Libya, Muammar Gaddafi wants Obama to be president for life---he said that just yesterday in his rambling address to the General Assembly. The UN has become a place where terrorists are praised to the cheering crowds in the General Assembly while the USA and Israel are condemned for simply trying to defend themselves. The American taxpayer has had enough, and yet we continue to contribute billions of dollars to these radicals at the UN, to these people who condemn us at every turn. Without the funding of U S taxpayers the UN would collapse and this useless organization who hates America would cease to exist. Netanyahu Condemns U.N. for Allowing Ahmadinejad to Deliver Address
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu expressed astonishment that the United Nations would give Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad "legitimacy" just six decades after the Holocaust.

Holding aloft evidence of Hitler's Final Solution, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday railed against Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad for his denial of the Holocaust and scolded the United Nations for allowing Ahmadinejad to speak during its opening session of the 64th U.N. General Assembly.

Offering detailed reminders of the war that sent 6 million Jews to their deaths in concentration camps and recalling the agreement within the world body to create the Jewish State, Netanyahu took his turn at the dais to express astonishment at what he witnessed a day earlier.

He commended those who boycotted Ahmadinejad's speech, but condemned those who allowed it.

"To those who gave this Holocaust denier a hearing, I say on behalf of my people. ... Have you no shame? Have you no decency?" Netanyahu said.

Netanyahu scolded the United Nations for giving the Iranian president "legitimacy" just six decades after the Holocaust. Ahmadinejad addressed the body Wednesday, and in the run-up to the session repeated his belief that the Holocaust is a myth.

In an age of "tip-toeing through the tulips" it is quite refreshing to hear someone say what he means. It is like a breath of fresh air in an otherwise stale world. Few people these days feel free to really say what they mean. They are muzzled like some mad dog or feel restrained for fear of offending someone in a world where every word seems to echo like the whispers in some giant canyon. Time and time again when someone dares to cross the line of "political correctness" they are quickly admonished by the "pc" police. Recently, Joe Wilson dared to shout out what he perceived to be the truth when he yelled out "you lie", he was abruptly reigned in and scolded by his peers who hide behind the wall of political correctness. Sadly, truth is the biggest victim here. Our political leaders hide behind this invisible screen and seldom venture out. For most this provides a cloak to hide their real feelings, their real attitudes and their real agendas. Because its in this atmosphere they can appear to be all things to all people and hopefully maintain their coveted positions in the halls of power where they are showered with accolades and honors. Honors they do NOT deserve for in being less than honest they are cheating the people who elected them. These leaders are NOT leaders, but rather puppets and the grand puppet master is POLITICAL CORRECTNESS.

An illegal alien in Polk County Florida who got pulled over in a routine traffic stop ended up 'executing' the deputy who stopped him..
The deputy was shot eight times, including once behind his right ear at close range. Another deputy was wounded and a police dog killed. A state wide manhunt ensued.

The murderer was found hiding in a wooded area and as soon as he took a shot at the SWAT team, officers opened fire on him.

They hit the guy 68 times.

Naturally, the liberal media went nuts and asked why they had to shoot the poor undocumented immigrant 68 times.

Sheriff Grady Judd told the Orlando Sentinel:
"Because that's all the ammunition we had."

Now, is that just about the all-time greatest answer or what!

The Coroner also reported that the illegal alien died of natural causes.

When asked by a reporter how that could be since there were 68 bullet wounds in his body, he simply replied "when you are shot 68 times you are naturally gonna die.

Attack on Iran

It seems to me that the only question is the time of the attack. No sanctions will stop the Iranians from going forward with their efforts to obtain the bomb. This is something that the current conservative government in Israel will NOT allow. The recent more liberal government had indicated basically the same thing. Time is winding down and moving toward that moment when the planes will be launched and the world will hold its breath as the bombs fall on Iranian targets. Wondering not what the damage was to those nuclear sites, but instead worrying about the the Iranian response to the attack. The response has always been in the forefront of the debate for most nations are NOT concerned with an Iranian bomb (that is most nations with the obvious exception of Israel and conservatives here in this country), for most nations, the fear of the unknown (the Iranian response) is far greater than the fear of the known(an Iranian bomb). This clearly shows a fatal weakness of our allies. A weakness that Iran has exploited up to this point with great success. But the clock is ticking and I suspect the plans have been finalized and their targets pinpointed.

Israel will attack Iran's nuclear facilities before the end of the year if the West has not launched an attempt to destroy the regime with crippling sanctions, a former senior defence official has claimed.

Ephraim Sneh, Israel's deputy defence minister until 2007, said a nuclear-armed Iran was an unacceptable threat to Israel. No Israeli government could put its faith in President Barack Obama's efforts to bring Tehran to the negotiating table over its nuclear programme, he said.

"The Israeli government is the only entity that is responsible for the existence of the Jewish people," he said. "Iran has been explicit in its hostility to Israel time and again. They would use these weapons.

Israel pledges to protect itself from 'new Holocaust' threat posed by Iran's nuclear programme"We believe that Iran has the capacity and the delivery capability for nuclear weapons. They can proceed to production. We have got two months to act - before the end of 2009."

Iran and the major world power are to start talks on the stand off over its nuclear programme, which stands in violation of United Nations resolutions, on Oct 1. Mr Obama's offer to talk to Iran without pre-conditions has made Israel nervous that Tehran will use detente as a cover to complete its drive for an atom bomb.

"If Iran gained the bomb it would trigger a regional arms race with Saudi and Egypt quickly obtaining weapons," he said. "We would be living next to three Pakistans."

Mr Sneh believes Iran's regime has been weakened by the pro-democracy uprising in the aftermath of the disputed presidential election. It could be brought to its knees by sanctions curtailing imports of petrol, the sale of spare parts for energy production, freezing its banks out of the global monetary system and banning cross-border investment.

When is a Tax not a Tax

Today on ABC News Obama finally got pushed a little by George Stephanopoulos on a question of Taxes. Like many politicians the word "tax" is to be avoided at all cost and they often try to disguise "taxes" anyway they can. Today, Obama got caught when George Stephanopoulos pulled out a Webster's Dictionary and read the defination. Obama quickly recovered from the unexpected attack by the ABC anchorman and came back with a somewhat pitiful response. On a personal note I met George Stephanopoulos many years ago at the home of his aunt in North Little Rock, Arkansas. His aunt had been a close friend of my mother in Hattiesburg, MS some years before. George was a young boy at the time about 13 years old. I only recall the meeting because of the name---difficult to pronounce. I have to give the youngest some credit for today's interview, although I'm not a fan.

Obama, Stephanopoulos Spar Over Definition of 'Tax'
In an interview airing Sunday, ABC News' George Stephanopoulos pressed the president on his plan to require people to purchase health insurance.

President Obama and ABC News' George Stephanopoulos got in a testy sparring match Sunday over whether the president's health care plan includes a tax increase, leading the host to look up the Merriam-Webster dictionary definition of taxes.

In the interview airing Sunday, Stephanopoulos pressed the president on his plan to require people to purchase health insurance.

"Under this mandate, the government is forcing people to spend money, fining you if you don't. How is that not a tax?" the host asked.

Obama responded: " No, but -- but, George, you -- you can't just make up that language and decide that that's called a tax increase."

Stephanopoulos then offered the dictionary definition.

"I don't think I'm making it up. Merriam-Webster's dictionary: 'Tax, a charge, usually of money, imposed by authority on persons or property for public purposes,'" he said.

Visibly taken aback, Obama rejected the notion it was a tax increase and said pulling the dictionary out was a sign the host was "stretching" a little.

"No. That -- that's not true, George. The -- for us to say that you've got to take a responsibility to get health insurance is absolutely not a tax increase," Obama said.

Obama Destroying the CIA

They have both and I repeat both taken steps at undermining this vital department of the federal government and their continuing effort pose a real and present danger to national security. Security which is the presidents most sacred vow. He has sworn to protect the people of the United States and is doing something that is making us less secure. He is doing this to appease his radical friends on the far, far left of American politics and he is doing this to gain favor in certain foreign circles all at the expense of your and my security. I would give him a new title for he is certainly not acting like a president of the United States, but rather a President of the World, that part of the world that leans left. He is making overtures to leaders in Iran, to leaders in certain Latin American countries where Marxist have gained or are gaining power. He has slapped some our best allies in the face such as Poland and other eastern European countries. Countries that have had a full taste of socialism and communism and have totally rejected those failed policies. Policies that the Obama administration are now embracing. Let us face a simple truth, yes I'll say it, Obama is a full blown radical socialist and he proves this more and more every day by his actions and those who he appoints to positions of power around him and his attempt to undermine such great American institutions as the CIA. Could he have something to hide, something so dangerous to him personally that he will destroy anyone or any organization that might uncover the lies in his past. He doesn't have to worry about the FBI, for his close personal friend Eric Holder, the Attorney General is at the helm there and doing his bidding. But quite obviously, the CIA provides some concerns. So I'm not asking Obama to back off on the CIA probe, because it will not happen. While the destruction of the CIA in not in the national security interest it is however necessary for Obama's personal security interest. Below is a letter sent to this usurper by former CIA directors:

Dear Mr. President:

We have served as directors of Central Intelligence or directors of the CIA for presidents reaching back over 35 years. We respectfully urge you to exercise your authority to reverse Attorney General Holder's August 24 decision to re-open the criminal investigation of CIA interrogations that took place following the attacks of September 11.

Our reasons for making this recommendation are as follows.

The post-September 11 interrogations for which the attorney general is opening an inquiry were investigated four years ago by career prosecutors. The CIA, at its own initiative, forwarded fewer than 20 instances where agency officers appeared to have acted beyond their existing legal authorities.

Career prosecutors under the supervision of the US Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia determined that one prosecution (of a CIA contractor) was warranted. A conviction was later obtained. They determined that prosecutions were not warranted in the other cases. In a number of these cases the CIA subsequently took administrative disciplinary steps against the individuals involved.

Attorney General Holder's decision to re-open the criminal investigation creates an atmosphere of continuous jeopardy for those whose cases the Department of Justice had previously declined to prosecute. Moreover, there is no reason to expect that the re-opened criminal investigation will remain narrowly focused.

If criminal investigations closed by career prosecutors during one administration can so easily be reopened at the direction of political appointees in the next, declinations of prosecution will be rendered meaningless. Those men and women who undertake difficult intelligence assignments in the aftermath of an attack such as September 11 must believe there is permanence in the legal rules that govern their actions.

They must be free, as the chairman of the Senate Homeland Security Committee, Senator Lieberman, has put it: "to do their dangerous and critical jobs without worrying that years from now a future attorney general will authorize a criminal investigation of them for behavior that a previous attorney general concluded was authorized and legal." Similar deference needs to be shown to fact-based decisions made by career prosecutors years ago.

Not only will some members of the intelligence community be subjected to costly financial and other burdens from what amounts to endless criminal investigations, but this approach will seriously damage the willingness of many other intelligence officers to take risks to protect the country. In our judgment such risk-taking is vital to success in the long and difficult fight against the terrorists who continue to threaten us.

Success in intelligence often depends on surprise and deception and on creating uncertainty in the mind of an enemy. As president you have the authority to make decisions restricting substantive interrogation or any other intelligence collection method, based on legal analyses and policy recommendations.

But, the administration must be mindful that public disclosure about past intelligence operations can only help Al Qaeda elude U.S. intelligence and plan future operations. Disclosures about CIA collection operations have and will continue to make it harder for intelligence officers to maintain the momentum of operations that have saved lives and helped protect America from further attacks.

Finally, another certain result of these reopened investigations is the serious damage done to our intelligence community's ability to obtain the cooperation of foreign intelligence agencies. Foreign services are already greatly concerned about the United States' inability to maintain any secrets. They rightly fear that, through these additional investigations and the court proceedings that could follow, terrorists may learn how other countries came to our assistance in a time of peril.

The United States promised these foreign countries that their cooperation would never be disclosed. As a result of the zeal on the part of some to uncover every action taken in the post-9/11 period, many countries may decide that they can no longer safely share intelligence or cooperate with us on future counter-terrorist operations. They simply cannot rely on our promises of secrecy.

We support your stated commitment, Mr. President, to look to the future regarding these important issues. In our judgment the only way that is possible is if the criminal investigation of these interrogations that Attorney General Holder has re-opened is now re-closed.

Obama will spend money funding such groups as ACORN and hundreds of billions to insure his friends in the auto unions maintain their power and now absolute control on many American auto makers despite the fact that past union demands have virtually destroyed that industry and now he is beginning to strip the military of weapons deemed necessary by the previous administration to defend western Europe and the United States from future Iranian missile attacks. He does this in the face of continuing Iranian buildups in their missile forces and a march toward nuclear weapons. Pentagon Confirms Major Adjustments to European Missile Shield

The Pentagon confirmed Thursday that it has made a "major adjustment" to plans for a missile defense system in eastern Europe, after a U.S. ally said the Obama administration is shelving the system altogether.

The proposed system was pitched as a way to fend off potential attacks from Iran but it became a major irritant in relations with Russia. President Obama faced the dilemma of either setting back the gradual progress toward repairing relations with Russia or disappointing two key NATO allies, the Czech Republic and Poland, that agreed to host components of the planned system.

Pentagon spokesman Geoff Morrell declined to give specifics about the new changes, but said: "This improvement to the system has nothing to do with Russia and everything to do with Iran."

He said the "adjustment" was made because the "latest intelligence" shows Iran is more "fixated" on short- and medium-range missiles - the prior plans were developed with long-range, intercontinental ballistic missiles in mind.

"While the Iranian threat has developed, so too has our technology," Morrell said. Details were expected to be announced later Thursday. read more from FOX News

So that there we be no misunderstanding about the comments in the paragraph immediately following this let me stress it is satire and only meant to highlight the comments in the second paragraph. Some may see it as racist as they see Joe Wilson's, "You Lie" remarks to Obama. Those on the left can no longer hide behind crys of "racism". That accusation has lost it true meaning and those who insist on using it are doing black people no favor and if anything are actually hurting their cause.

Th Rise of Rampant Runaway Racism

Joe Wilson joined what is becoming a very, very long list of white racist who oppose the agenda of Barack Obama. At the present rate of growth this list is expected to include some 85% of all white people living in the United States by the end of 2010. Wilson like many on the list was added shortly after his outburst during a campaign speech by BHO while addressing a joint session of Congress where Wilson shouted out "you lie". Wilson, at first apologized to Barry, but when pushed by the speaker of the house Nancy Pelosi to give the apology on the floor of the House Wilson refused. This sealed his fate and he name was added to that long and growing list of awful white racist. Barry however, remained above the fray as always, claiming he didn't think the remark was racist; while at the same time refusing to condemn those who labeled Wilson as a racist. Barry loves to have it both ways. After all he is neither white or black or perhaps he is both!

Historical note: Taxes always increase during a Democratic administration and amazingly the number of homeless always drops during the first 24 hours after the inauguration of a Democratic president. We can now add racism as something that goes and comes with the changing of the guard at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, with this current administration being by far the best example of an emerging pattern.



Black Publishers Cry Racism Over Wilson Outburst, Join Boycott of South Carolina
A group of black publishers has canceled a planned January conference in South Carolina where Rep. Joe Wilson is a representative and joined an economic boycott of the state started by the state NAACP in protest of the confederate flag flying from the State House grounds.

A group of black newspaper publishers on Friday charged Republican Rep. Joe Wilson with racism for yelling, "You lie," at President Obama during his nationally televised address to a joint session of Congress.

The National Newspaper Publishers Association (NNPA) has canceled a planned January conference in South Carolina, where Wilson is a representative, and joined an economic boycott of the Palmetto State started 10 years ago by the state NAACP in protest of the confederate flag waving from the Statehouse grounds.

Wilson shouted his accusation Wednesday night in response to Obama saying that his health care reform plan would not cover illegal immigrants. Wilson, who drew sharp criticism from both sides of the political fence for the breach in decorum, immediately apologized to Obama and the president accepted. But House Democrats are pressing Wilson to apologize on the House floor or face disciplinary action.

The corruption within ACORN is matched by those "so-called" reporters at MSNBC, NBC, ABC, CBS, The New York Times and many others---so be it, the truth still came out despite their silence.

These two young people, Hannah and James have done what no other politician or group of politicians has been able to do. Next year when the census takers come to your home, to count you and yours, you will NOT have to look into the ugly face of ACORN. The Day After & The Butterfly Effect

Today, the day after the anniversary of 9-11 gave me the title of today's post. I was reminded of a 1983 movie. "The Day After" showing the after effects of a massive nuclear exchange with the former Soviet Union. No this post is not about nuclear war, but simply a look at where we are today following the attack on 9-11.

I recall the day in 2001 when the first bombs began to rain down on Afghanistan and the satisfaction I took as the Taliban were quickly routed and American forces went into Kubal. The morning I got the news that Saddam Hussein was rooted from his spider hole was great. And the many other events along the way, but good and bad. This post however is not one of reflection, but rather a look at where we are today.

The picture is not good. The war in Afghanistan has taken a turn for the worse at this time. The Taliban has learned well from the insurgences in Iraq and the use of the IED's is beginning to take a toll there. The improvements the Iranians have made on these devices has proved devastating to allied forces. And there seems to be little desire on the part of those in Washington to do anything about it. Support for the war effort is waning and unless progress can be shown soon this weakling we now have for a president will buckle and begin withdrawing American forces---I have little doubt of that. That said, let me say that having thousands more American troops killed and injured by these improved IED's is not acceptable to me either, and the only solution I see is to go after the factories in Iran turning out these devices. It is becoming increasingly clear that Iran, must be dealt with now and dealt with decisively. The IED's, the nuclear issue, its role in international terrorism---all these things must be stopped in order to have peace in the area. Should we abandon our efforts in Afghanistan, all the gains there will be lost as well as the gains in Iraq----the two are linked. They are linked by their common neighbor Iran and its there that victory must be won or all is lost in that region of the world. Should Afghanistan fall back under the control of the Taliban, then the way will be paved for the reemergence of Osama and his followers in that region and in that area where all this began will again be a spring board for more attacks on the homeland.

The outlook on this "Day After" is bleak, we have an administration that will not deal with Iran forcefully and it is Iran that holds the key to final victory in Iraq and for the ultimate victory or some type of favorable outcome in Afghanistan. This president will not, and I repeat will not put the necessary pressure on Iran to secure success in either Iraq or in Afghanistan. A pivotal point is quickly approaching and this weakling in the White House may soon lose what little control he has left over the situation, there is an increasing possibility that Israel may take action against the Iranian state and that would change everything. The deck would be reshuffled and the outcome for the entire region would be any ones guess.

One lesson that history teaches is that the smallest occurrences often have a profound effect on events(a freak gust of wind, exposing an IED on a road to Kubal; or even a dung beetle pushing his tiny ball across a field). Events I dubbed the "butterfly effect" many, many year ago---but alas, a name which was stolen as my classroom lectures were not copyrighted. So predicting or simply speculating on such things is merely folly for fools like me.

PFC Robert C. Thomas, a 19 year old from Detroit was amazed as he carefully watched the two large shining beetles push the almost perfectly round ball inch after inch and foot after foot across the rocky ground going around the larger stones and over the smaller ones. This young man from the inner city had never witness such a unique act. He was perplexed and amazed at their efforts and completely oblivious to anything else for the moment. And it was at this exact moment that the enemy slipped past his sharp, but distracted eyes. A huge explosion rocked the mountain valley, un-noticed by the two dung beetles, but jarring the young soldier from his trance and in an instant 22 American soldiers lay dead. This brought the causality total for the year to over 1000, a milestone and led congress to cut funding for the war in Afghanistan---The BUTTERFLY EFFECT!

The stage is set, the curtain is going up and all eyes will be on the greatest speaker and our first post-racial president. All of our elected federal officials and members of the supreme court will look with awe as the commander-in-chief enters the great hall to the roar of the crowd and the cameras will role as he ascends to the throne and takes his place behind the safety of his TOTUS. Seated behind the great man will be the Speaker of the House, a great lady and defender of the down-trodden masses and next to her the President of the Senate, the Vice President, who often speaks the truth much to the dismay of the great leader. The applause, the cheers will subside and the great leader will speak and the words will flow over the crowd and through the airways and a feeling of awe will permeate those assembled and the masses huddled round their TV's at home.

But that was January 2009 and this is September 2009 and things have changed. This great man this great post-racial president has lost his glow and cloud has settled on his image and a new emerging one is being formed. Americans are beginning to see, not the great uniter, but the lying divider. he will attempt to sway the masses again as he did earlier, but this time, his words will fall on deaf ears and the applause will be muffled and subdued. The sleeping giant of middle America has been wakened and the lies of this once great leader have been exposed and his true agenda revealed.

President Obama we will no longer listen, we will no longer believe, we will no longer tolerate your lies, we will no longer respect you, we will instead insist you respect our will and hear our demands. And sir if you persist in your ways and attempt to impose an unAmerican system on us, we sir will crush you and those like you and purge you and your supporters from our America. You sir, are unAmerican, unpatriotic, and unwanted!!

S.H.I.T. vs P.E.T.A.

Just couldn't help myself and had to repost this post of a few weeks ago. I have however, added an additional paragraph at the end of this post.

A recent study done at the prestigious Sam Houston Institution of Technology better know as S.H.I.T. has found that flagellant emissions by Veegan's was three times higher than that of people who have a mixed diet of meat and vegetables. The extensive study was conducted over a five year period and included the participation of some 5,000 volunteers divided evenly between meat-eaters and non-meat eaters. Some environmentalist groups and P.E.T.A. located in San Francisco are already questioning the legitimacy of this report claiming that S.H.I.T. has large endowments from wealthy cattle ranchers, adding this report does not pass the smell test. Additionally, F.A.R.T. the Federal Association of Retired Tomato-growers has condemned the report. However, members of the Board of Regents at S.H.I.T. are standing by the results. Furthermore they are now claiming that by eating meat people are, in fact, cutting down on green house gas emissions countering the argument by environmental groups that livestock are contributing to global warming and therefore should be taxed accordingly. Scientist at S.H.I.T. point out a well know fact to back up their findings, "Bean-eaters fart more than Big Mac eaters".

Meanwhile inside sources at the White House indicate many of the staff are in disarray over the contents of this reports with some staffers and interns calling for a separate eating areas for the Veegans in the cafeteria and a designated Veegan break areas outside. As usually the President hasn't yet taken a position on these rapidly developing events. The situation on Capital Hill is about the same with some meat-eating Senators demanding Veegans be excluded from certain "closed door hearings". Things appear to be spinning out of control as both sides harden their positions. A few of the meat-eating Senators are now calling for a special tax to be levied on all beans sold in the country to buy carbon credits. The senior senator from Texas is planning to introduce a bill calling for a nationwide ban on Veegans in all public eating places, and in all closed places where large crowd gather. Again the President's position is unclear on this fast moving story. Outside the White House protesters from both sides are gathering with those on the Veegan side hurling unseen missiles at the meat-eaters! Capital police with gas masks have be observed arresting some of the Veegans and hauling them off in Hasmat vehicles. As this situation unfolds trading on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange has been wild with cattle futures soaring while bean futures are tumbling with most other commodities remaining stable. Meanwhile the man on the street was saying these stinking politicians have finally been exposed and he was grateful to S.H.I.T.

Although President Obama's public position remains neutral some White House correspondences report overhearing some muffled remarks yesterday as the president left the safety of his TOTUS. The meaning of these unguarded remarks is yet to be aired.

We all seek to protect the environment and we all know the sometime violent effect of "bean-eating". I recall my frequent trips to Mexico and was warned by many seasoned travelers not to strike a match in restaurants as the act could be inflammatory. Many who favor massive immigration are also in the radical environmental movement and I would have these few words for them, "control greenhouse emissions by limiting the numbers of "bean-eaters" entering the country.

Van Jones a Product of American Universities

With little or no fanfare from the Obama-loving MSM Obama's twin brother, not in looks but in ideology, quietly slips from the sense while other of his radical "Hate America Crowd" hang on to their coveted positions as White House Czars. The Obamaites will now begin to circle their wagons to protect the remaining far, far left crowd of "Rev. Wright Think Alike's" to ensure that they remain close to their "Lord and Master" Barack Hussein Obama". But the exposer of these commies, these radical socialist, these America haters, these irrational revolutionaries, these people who hate everything that traditional American stands for, will continue and probably with more vigor than before. Glen Beck and others like him will continue to dig will continue to probe the dark murky world of this "hate America" crowd who were born not in the homes of America, but in the, once proud classrooms of our great universities. Classrooms that have become corrupted by radical professors who spew their unamerican values at a young inpressiable captive audience, classrooms that are paid for by the very group they now seek to destroy.

The alarm has been sounded and some will hear the toll of the bell while many will remain deaf. The radicals in the White House the radicals in the streets are being put there via our classrooms and its there that they must be defeated. This assembly line must be destroyed or new models will continue to roll off. New Obamas and new Van Jones will confront us tomorrow unless the factory is destroyed and a new assembly line established. Academic freedom no longer resides at the great Universities. And those who hide behind that term are doing everything to prevent it and attempting to insure that no view except their radical view is heard. Its time, its past time to take back our schools for the sake of our young, for the sake of America.

What Do You See Here?

Recently came across this unusual image. At first glance I saw only an old man and an old woman. But on closer examination I began to see many more things in the picture. Got me to thinking about how some people see things and others viewing the same image see something totally different. Today we are seeing the "Tea Parties" throughout this great country. Some see them in one way and the others see something totally different. The difference is astounding and hard to fathom. Many see what those around them see, many see what someone else tells them they are seeing, many see the forest and not the trees, many see the trees and not the forest, and some unfortunately see nothing. Many news outlets choose not to show the "Tea Parties" today and others decided to cover the events. Why? What is the reasoning behind the decisions of both sides---is one side in the pocket of the Democrats and the other favoring the Republicans. What are their motives? Checked out CNN, MSNBC, and FOX today just to see what was being shown. CNN and MSNBC had their usual political discussions on with pundents from the left and right, have to say mostly left. While FOX was showing the crowds of common people at the rallies. Had to ask myself, which was the most important, the crowds on the streets or the pundents in the studio---the answer is obvious and clear. And its becoming obvious and clear to me that many news organizations simply don't want you to see the complete, the full picture. They want you to see what they see, by showing you only what they decide is best. Not what is best for you, but what is best for them, what is best for the values they hold, what is best for their liberal ideology. Look at this picture closely, look closely so you can see what is really in front of you. Don't let others tell you what you see. Look for yourself.

Red Finger of Courage

Things have taken a turn for the worst at the health care rallies---from finger pointing to finger biting. The below report is an account of a man losing his finger via an unidentified finger biter. Will things deteriorate from this point and what will be next, maybe ears and noses. The victim in this case is OK and has appeared on FOX News seemingly none the worse following the ordeal. Unfortunately the finger could not be re-attached, however the bright spot in this regrettable incident is that the man can point to his missing finger for years to come and recall his part in the epic struggle over socialized health care. This war injury could very well become his "Red Finger of Courage".

THOUSAND OAKS -- A 65-year-old man had his finger bitten off Wednesday evening at a health care rally in Thousand Oaks, according to the Ventura County Sheriff's Department.

Sheriff's investigators were called to Hillcrest and Lynn Road at 7:26 p.m.

About 100 protesters sponsored by MoveOn.org were having a rally supporting health care reform.

A group of anti-health care reform protesters formed across the street.

The finger-biting incident occurred after a member of the group protesting health care reform, William Rice, 65, of Newbury Park, became involved in a heated discussion with a member of Code Pink, sheriff’read more.....

Florida Teacher Speaks Out

The following is an email sent to me sometime ago. Its enough to make your blood boil or as Glen Beck would say, make the blood shoot out of your eyes. Recently the Democrats under the leadership of Nancy Pelosi and others in Congress following the instructions of our great, great fearless leader at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue tried to quickly slip a massive health bill past a sleeping American public much as the cunning Greeks thousands of years ago crawled from their hiding place inside the fabled "Trojan Horse" and fell upon the sleeping citizens of Troy. This is nothing new it is done all the time by politicians who feel they owe more to special interest who line their coffers with campaign money, than to the voters who actually elect them. They pass the laws all the time with little fanfare and often long before the next election, hoping the public will not notice or forget before the next election rolls around. The below letter is a clear example of laws which few Americans would support, but are nevertheless are in effect.



LETTER BY A FLORIDA TEACHER A TEACHER SPEAKS OUT

This is a subject close to my heart. Do you know that we have adult students at the school where I teach who are NOT U.S. citizens and who get the PELL Grant, which is a federal grant (no payback required) plus other federal grants to go to school?

One student from the Dominican Republic told me that she didn't want me to find a job for her after she finished my program, because she was getting housing from our housing department and she was getting a PELL Grant which paid for her total tuition and books, plus money leftover.

She was looking into WAIT which gives students a CREDIT CARD for gas to come to school, and into CARIBE which is a special program (check it out - I did) for immigrants and it pays for child care and all sorts of needs while they go to school or training. The one student I just mentioned told me she was not going to be a U.S. Citizen because she plans to return to the Dominican Republic someday and that she 'loves HER country.'

I asked her if she felt guilty taking what the U.S. is giving her and then not even bothering to become a citizen and she told me that it doesn't bother her, because that is what the money is there for!

I asked the CARIBE administration about their program and if you ARE a U.S. citizen, you don't qualify for their program. And all the while, I am working a full day, my son-in-law works more than 60 hours a week, and everyone in my family works and pays for our education.

Something is wrong here. I am sorry, but after hearing that they want to sing the National Anthem in Spanish - enough is enough. That's a real slap in the face. Nowhere did they sing it in Italian, Polish, Irish (Celtic), German or any other language because of immigration.. It was written by Francis Scott Key and should be sung word for word the way it was written. The news broadcasts even gave the translation -- not even close.

I don't care whether this offends someone or not but this is MY COUNTRY. IF IT IS YOUR COUNTRY SPEAK UP -- please pass this along. I am not against immigration -- I just expect immigrants to come through like everyone else. Get a sponsor; have a place to lay your head; have a job; pay your taxes, live by the rules AND LEARN THE LANGUAGE as all other immigrants have in the past -- and GOD BLESS AMERICA!

Obama Spreads the Wealth

I was walking my dog tonight and noticed that he stopped in all the usual spots to water those things which he thought were needing his attention. Night after night the same spots got his attention. No matter how hard I tried to lead him to a different spot he would invariably go to the same places. Suddenly, I got the message--these were his spots and he wanted to water them to be sure he was remembered, so he marked then again and again as in nights before. Obama's recent budget proposal reminded me of my dog. He has to water those who supported him in the past---his favorite spots, acorn,environmental activist, labor unions, etc. and more. I told my wife about our beloved dogs behavior and she said, "its just the way their little minds work", boy did she say a mouthful. The little minds are active now---protect your trees. Obama doesn't want to spread the wealth---that's a myth---he only wants to water the old familiar spots with your water.

The Second American Revolution

At first I was amused and simply brushed aside the early Tea Parties and gave them little chance of effecting the American political system. I was wrong, boy was I wrong! This has turned into what many are now calling the "Second American Revolution" and it the end it may put to rest the creeping socialism that both parties have been guilty of pushing on a sleeping American giant, the common man. Millions have rallied and the numbers seem to be growing as more and more of the Health Care Bill is revealed and as the massive spending of the liberals in Washington goes unabated with total disregard to public opinion.

Things are quickly coming to a head and those forces on the left who stubbornly cling to their discredited values are beginning to feel the wrath of the American people---the American people who pay their bills---the American people who work hard and pay their taxes---the American people who for too long have been silent, while those on the left yelled and screamed to get their message out---the American people whose silence was taken as an endorsement for more government control and more government spending---finally, the American people are no longer silent and that silence has been broken by the roar of the crowd, or if you like,"the mob" and can be heard across this great country from the lighthouse on the rocky coast of Maine through the vast heartland and to the Golden Gate. The cry is not "the British are coming", the cry of this Second American Revolution is "No More Big Government---Leave Me and Mine Alone"!
