Agree with Obama or be called Racist

It seems these days that anyone who disagrees with Obama is a racist. That was a campaign tactic that's now been transferred to his administration. Really, what is a racist. I prefer to associate with whites in general more than with blacks---therefore, I'm racist. Does it not matter that I have more in common with them, guess not--I'm racist. Tried to speak to some Mexicans the other day at the store, suppose they couldn't understand me, so I went on with my shopping--I'm racist. I support legal immigration, not illegal immigration--I'm racist. I think most of Obama's policies are foolish--I'm racist. So what is a racist? Took the time to look it up--says a racist is someone who has an unreasoning dislike for someone on another race. Gosh, that lets me off the hook, I have reasons for my dislikes. I dislike some Arabs because they want to kill me so I guess that one is ok. I dislike some Mexicans because they jumped the fence so that one is ok. I dislike some blacks because they feel I owe them something guess that one is ok. And finally, I dislike liberals, because I simply cannot tolerate fools, guess that one is ok, too. Gee, maybe I'm not racist.

These eight Republican member of the United States House of Representatives voted for what could become the biggest tax increase in U.S. history. Their votes were very likely the decisive votes in what was a short but spirited battle in the House.

We are now bracing for what will be a major contest in the United States Senate where, at this time, it appears the monstrous Tax and Trade bill will be defeated. However if any Republican senators feel the need to trade with the enemy in a time of war they will be posted also.

Obama Spreads the Wealth

I was walking my dog tonight and noticed that he stopped in all the usual spots to water those things which he thought were needing his attention. Night after night the same spots got his attention. No matter how hard I tried to lead him to a different spot he would invariably go to the same places. Suddenly, I got the message--these were his spots and he wanted to water them to be sure he was remembered, so he marked then again and again as in nights before. Obama's recent budget proposal reminded me of my dog. He has to water those who supported him in the past---his favorite spots, acorn,environmental activist, labor unions, etc. and more. I told my wife about our beloved dogs behavior and she said, "its just the way their little minds work", boy did she say a mouthful. The little minds are active now---protect your trees. Obama doesn't want to spread the wealth---that's a myth---he only wants to water the old familiar spots with your water.

You are the Ugly American

The Constitution of the United States of American is a short concise document, not restricting the rights of the people, but rather guaranteeing the liberties, the freedoms that are god-given rights. The founders fought and died for these freedoms and were not about to hand them over to some central government. They knew that power rested with the people and not with the government, something that has been cast aside by today's leaders.

Today's politician goes to the Capital with one thing in mind to help those who elected him to office and the general welfare of the public is the farther thing from his mind. He goes into the various congressional committees seeking to advance the causes of those groups who supported him, those groups that gave the most to his campaign. Nowhere on his list is the group that needs his support the most. Those in this group have NO representation No voice in the laws that are proposed and then passed to help us all, to protect us from ourselves. Nowhere is this group heard, while law after law is passed and presented to the public as great achievements. And we are told that our great new leaders, leaders cut from the mold of Jefferson and Washington, have passed laws that will make our lives better. Who is this unimportant group whose voices are not heard, who are pushed aside by those in positions of power, who are these people. Let me tell you!! You are in that group if you are silent, if you fail to speak up for yourself, if you go along with the crowd, if you feel that your opinion doesn't count, you are that lowly thing, that may call himself a citizen, you are that lowly thing that may call yourself a voter. You and you alone are the problem. Not the politicians, not the special interest groups, but you and those like you. You, my friend are the sunshine patriot and the fair weather soldier, you are the one who hangs back while better men step forward and answer the call, the call of a nation dying from within, a nation whose freedoms are being eroded by those whose only motives are greed and power. You are worst that the corrupt, worst than the greedy, because you, yes you know better. You have tasted the freedoms better men have fought and died to pass on to you. You have enjoyed the benefits and pleasures of a free nation. You have taken those freedoms and liberties for granted. And now you sit in silence while the futures of your children, your grand children slip away. You my friend are the "Ugly American".

The Revolution Has Begun!!!

Run-a-way inflation will be the catalyst, the

spark, that ignites the great fire that will

sweep across the nation. Attempts will be made

to control it. The now, all powerful central

government, will mandate draconian

measures including wage and price controls.

These and other measures will prove

impudent in face of the onrushing events.

Incidents of discontent will at first be sporadic

but will continue with an almost geometric

growth in there numbers and intensity. Local

authorities will quickly find themselves unable

to maintain order and will call on the state

officials for help. The National Guard will be

sent into those areas most affected by the

ever increasing violence. The large urban

areas will bear the brunt of these quickly

escalating events. The Guard will soon

find itself powerless to control things.

The disturbances will be too numerous and

wide-spread. In desperation, the

President will order regular army units into

the most seriously affected regions. These

measures will meet with success in those

places where large numbers of troops can be

concentrated, however by this time the

violence has spread to the suburbs

and to some rural areas. The situation is

now, OUT-OF-CONTROL! The military leaders

will be the first to recognize this and will take

action against those in power, who they

now hold responsible for the cascading

violence now sweeping the nation.

The revolution is over and a military coup has

installed a new civilian government.

Unchecked this could be Obama's path to

REVOLUTION.

Don't Laugh About The Fly,
Because You Are Next!!

Recently Obama swatted a lowly fly during one of his many interviews. The nation cheered at the somewhat comical sight. Yes, the quick hand of the President proved to much for the hapless fly and the victory was quickly won by the nation's 44th president. The media cheered and the masses applauded and marveled as the great one subdued and slayed the six-legged monster. The fly had almost no friends and few mourned his passing with the possible exception of the fly-lovers at PETA! The fly was just one of many trophy's added to the great hunters den wall in the few short months of his presidency. It will be placed along side of AIG, U.S. Banks, GM, Chrysler, MSM and soon Medical Care which is being stuffed by the White House Taxidermist as we write this post. Many other spaces remain on Obama's den wall. The plagues are already in place just waiting for the mounted heads. Among the many we noticed were: Coal Producers, Power Companies, Fast Food Outlets, FOX News, Talk Radio, Exxon, U.S. Airlines, State Government, Churches, and the biggest empty space with a plague reading YOU!

Where is the Original Obama Birth Certificate

Much as been said about Obama's birth certificate, or the lack of one. So what's does ones birth certificate state. It varies from state to state, but generally these items are included:

1. Mother's name, including her maiden name.

2. Father's name. This does not insure however that the name listed on the birth certificate, as the father is indeed the biological father. The Natchez Indian tribe had a custom that comes to mind here. When the chief died his eldest son did NOT become chief, none of his sons became chief. Rather, it was the eldest son of the dead chief's oldest sister who assumed that role. The custom may seem somewhat bizarre, but when one looks at the logic behind it the intentions become clear. You see, one could be sure that the mother of a baby is indeed the mother. People are present at the time of birth to bear witness. While the father of a baby, well chances are that only two were there at the time of conception. The mother and the biological father. The ancient Natchez Indians understood this, and also the custom of their women being somewhat loose with their affections led them to adopt this custom. They could always be sure the son of the chief's sister was of royal blood, but they could never be sure the son of the chief was of royal blood. Hence, father's name on birth certificate has some legal meaning, but that's where the truth stops. Of course, we are speaking of Obama's birth here--guess you've figured that out by now. So who is the real father---many have asked, but none will ever know.

3. Place of Birth. My birth certificate states, the town, the state and the address where I was born, as do most. What does Obama's state. Normally, this item is one of lesser importance, but when it comes to the President of the United States the Constitution demands it.

4. Date: the day, the month, the year and the hour of birth. Most all certificates have these items---does Obama's?

5. Doctor's name. The physician who delivered the baby. Does Obama's certificate have this name? If not, why?

6. Baby's, name, sex, race, weight, length, and other vital statistics varying from state to state.

One thing that is not on the certificate but associated with it is this. In large towns and in small towns the local news papers always carry accounts of births and deaths. Was Obama's birth reported in his city's local paper? What is the answer. I've probably left something out and I'm sure someone will point that out.

Marijuana and Obama's Utopian Dream

Recently, I came across a post on Sugar n Spice concerning a recent interview Obama gave to "60 Minutes". In the interview Obama is seen giggling and laughing and is called on it by the reporter, to which he replies "well you need a little gallows humor" or something to that effect. Glad he mentioned hanging and not some conservative---know that would have created something of a fire-storm. Sugar mentioned in her post that Barack looked and acted like he was high---the giggles, laughs, etc. Guess the truth will never be known---his actions did raise some eye-brows, however.

Anyway after reading Sugar's post and viewing the "60 Minutes" video, I got to thinking about by days some years ago and my frequent visits with Maryjane (marijuana). Often I would come in after a long hard day at the office change clothes and go to my friends house. There Tim, my friend, and I would relax and fire-up the old bong and enjoy the sultry Florida evening. During those long (and they were long) evenings we would discuss and solve most of the world's problems. However, I did notice the next day that all the solutions had slipped away and not to be retrieved until our next visit to Maryjanes place. During the trips Tim and I saw somethings differently--I would focus on the small (like looking at the details of the bark on a tree), while my friend would focus on the large (the whole forest and beyond). I was looking to the infinity of the small and he the infinity of the large. He often said, "where the big meets the small there you would find the answer to it all." Tim is gone now, died at the young age of 44. I miss my friend. Enough of the reminiscing, back to Sugar's post on Obama.

While reading Sugar's post I was reminded of Jonahan Swift's, Gulliver's Travels. And 3 or the 4 stories in his satire. The first being the best known of his visit to the land of the Lilliputians---the examination of the small and seemingly petty things in life. And next the visit to the land of the giants (the Brobdingnagians)---holding the magnifying glass up to the world and pointing out the imperfections. And finally, the land of the horses (the Houyhnhnms)---there Gulliver saw the perfection in nature, a Utopia. So as I read Sugar's post I was wondering what Obama was thinking of, if indeed, he was in a cloud of smoke--the Lilliputians, the Brobdingnagians, or the Houyhnhnms. Suddenly, the reality hit me---of course it was the Houyhnhnms! There he would have found his vision of a "Socialist Utopia." The perfect world which all liberals dream of and wish to impose on us all for our own good. Or maybe he sees something more ominous---he is Gulliver and we, well we are the Lilliputians.

The Color of Racism

I recently received an e-mail entitled white pride. After reading it I decided it fit nicely with the reports about the comments Sonia Sotomayor made so time ago and the dropping of charges by Obama's justice department against the three black panthers who were obviously attempting to intimidate voters in the recent presidential election. Those on the left in this country firmly believe that people of color cannot be racist and should not be held responsible for what they say or do and the MSM backs them up on this ridiculous accretion. When a white uses racist remarks he is widely condemned and virtually run out of town by the media and those on the left. This double standard in wrong, totally wrong and it is only a matter of time before a severe backlash will occur. Things such as this have an ebb and flow and the tide will turn, because such an injustice cannot long endure. The following is the e-mail I received.

Someone finally said it. How many are actually paying attention to this? There are African Americans, Mexican Americans, Asian Americans, Arab Americans, etc.

And then there are just Americans. You pass me on the street and sneer in my direction. You call me 'White boy,' 'Cracker,' 'Honkey,' 'Whitey,' 'Caveman'... and that's OK.

But when I call you, Nigger, Kike, Towel head, Sand-nigger, Camel Jockey, Beaner, Gook, or Chink .. You call me a racist.

You say that whites commit a lot of violence against you... so why are the ghettos the most dangerous places to live?

You have the United Negro College Fund. You have Martin Luther King Day.

You have Black History Month. You have Cesar Chavez Day.

You have Yom Hashoah. You have Ma'uled Al-Nabi.

You have the NAACP. You have BET... If we had WET (White Entertainment Television), we'd be racists. If we had a White Pride Day, you would call us racists.

If we had White History Month, we'd be racists.

If we had any organization for only whites to 'advance' OUR lives, we'd be racists.

We have a Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, a Black Chamber of Commerce, and then we just have the plain Chamber of Commerce. Wonder who pays for that??

A white woman could not be in the Miss Black American pageant, but any color can be in the Miss America pageant.

If we had a college fund that only gave white students scholarships... You know we'd be racists.

There are over 60 openly proclaimed Black Colleges in the US . Yet if there were 'White colleges', that would be a racist college.

In the Million Man March, you believed that you were marching for your race and rights. If we marched for our race and rights, you would call us racists.

You are proud to be black, brown, yellow and orange, and you're not afraid to announce it. But when we announce our white pride, you call us racists.

You rob us, carjack us, and shoot at us. But, when a white police officer shoots a black gang member or beats up a black drug dealer running from the law and posing a threat to society, you call him a racist.

I am proud... But you call me a racist.

Why is it that only whites can be racists??

There is nothing improper about this e-mail. Let's see which of you are proud enough to send it on. I sadly don't think many will... That's why we have LOST most of OUR RIGHTS in this country. We won't stand up for ourselves!

This was a tradition begun after the Cuban missle crisis and supposely continued until this day. The White House will not comment on these reports. This is a disturbing report. Our enemies are watching.

White House Leaks Story of Obama's Kenyan Birth

Unidentified sources inside the White House are quietly revealing, what has just been a rumor up until this time, that Obama may have indeed been born in Kenya. It is believed that these revelations are coming now, as a result of the ongoing effort by some groups to get the original copy of his birth certificate made public. At this moment the complete details are sketchy, but some details are emerging. It now appears that Ann Dunham (Mrs Barack Hussein Obama, Sr) had returned to Kenya with her husband of only 6 month in mid-July of 1961 to meet members of his Kenyan family. It is thought that while on this visit Ann Dunham learned of Obama seniors earlier marriage to a woman named Kezia in 1954 and that the two were the parents of four children. According to White House sources Ann, distraught and shaken leaves the senior Obama and goes to the nearby capital city of Nairobi and fearing for her life at that time seeks refuse at the American Embassy there. At first the embassy officials were somewhat reluctant to admit the young wife, but upon hearing her story of the death threats leveled at her by the family of Kezia, Barack seniors true wife they decide to give the young obviously pregnant girl asylum in the embassy. According to recently released embassy records the embassy was over-flowing with American nationals at that particular time due to a sharp spike in black nationalist activities directed at whites in the country. Because of over-crowding in the embassy proper, Ann was given shelter in a small shed in the rear of the embassy, a shed formerly reserved for livestock. The livestock had been removed several months before. It was in this former stable, that Ann unexpectedly gives birth to Barack Hussein Obama II, the current President of the United States. The anonymous sources at the White House are quick to point out two things: first, President Obama was born on American soil (U.S. Embassy grounds are considered under international agreements to be part of the United States); second, the ONE was born in a stable (the source was quick to emphasize this fact) for what reason we are not sure! Finally the issue is settled, Obama was born on American soil with his humble beginnings in a stable---the message here well I'll leave that to you!

"Uncle Sam Wants You". Uncle Sam needs you! Have you gotten the message! Are you ready to serve the new order! Are you ready to crush those forces that have corrupted our nation for hundreds of years! Are you ready to crush racism! Are you ready for real change! Are you ready to stop greed and corruption! Are you ready to stand up for your community! Are you ready to stifle unbridled individualism! Are you ready for a better life! Are you ready for free medical care! Are you ready for a better life! Are you ready to kick religion from the public square! Are you ready to stop parents from indoctrinating their children with unregulated home schooling! Are you ready for America to be put on the right path! Are you ready to reign-in the a military that threatens world peace! Are you ready to stand up to Israel and give the Arabs a fair shake! Are you ready to silence reactionary voices that stand in the way of better life for all! Are you ready to take the fight to the enemies of change! Now is the time, this is the moment for change. Change that will free us from the repressive chains of racism and capitalistic greed.

These are the chants of the new Progressive left in this county. The battle cry of the new administration. A call to arms. A call for change, radical change. These are demanding voices, voices that won't be easily silenced. Voices that are loud and threatening. These are the voices of "Change you can Count On". The new Uncle Sam does want you, but this time not to stand shoulder to shoulder with him against some forign enemy. This time Uncle Sam wants you, Under His Thumb!

Where is the MSM

Where is the MSM? Again, where the hell is the Main Stream Media!! These news people, and I hesitate to call them that are not missing in action. Yes, we actually know where their physical presence is. We see them everyday, many times a day on our TV's. But where are they? I'll tell you where these weaklings are, the spewers of half-truths and lies. They are in the great towers of Manhattan, in the White House Press room, in the news rooms throughout the nation. They are everywhere and nowhere. They sing, with almost a single voice, like a great choir who has rehearsed for months. They voices are deafening and at the same time silent. There voices are not those of America, but the voices of the elite journalism schools, the voices of a new progressivism, the voices of a great choir in tune with a new administration. They smile and claim objectivity, while all the time sweeping the dirt of a corrupt administration under the carpet. But worse that this is there agenda, they seek to change the America they don't like, and in many cases hate. They agenda in alien to most Americans, but common and loved by those in whose circles they travel. Reality to them is their newsroom and those like-minded colleagues who sit across from them at Starbucks. They know little of America outside of these circles and sadly they don't care. For their agenda is to change not to report. They will manipulate the news, distort the events, report the stories that support their beliefs and yes, their agenda. An agenda that seeks to have Americans of every walk think as they do. For they know, they know they are right and they just have to change the thinking of the rest of us. Theirs is a labor of love, a love of pluralism and a trashing of individualism. A herd mentality exists, with no room for descent or individualism. Love of America is dead, yes dead in today's MSM and the winds of change are blowing and collectivism is raising its ugly head and the reporters and the editors are cheering the vast changes sweeping cross the land. And the corruption and graft, the trashing of constitutional guarantees, are all but ignored by those in the press. For now "the ends justifies the means" is whats important. The role of the MSM has now become one of assuring the ends and the hell with the method.

Where is the MSM! Yes, they are still here, but they have become only voices in a choir. They trumpet change at any cost. They trumpet a new America for they hate the old one.
The real agenda of the MSM is to change and not to report.

Tomorrow's News Today

Large numbers of the Revolutionary Guard have been called into Tehran from the rural areas of the country, although information is difficult to confirm at this time reports of sporadic gunfire being heard in various parts of the city are trickling in to our sources on the ground. All social networking sites have now been closed, and a dusk to dawn curfew has been imposed throughout the city. President Obama continues to waffle and will not take a definitive position on the widening protest. World leaders are struggling to deal with the situation, but realizing they have little control over the onrushing events occurring in Persia.

In other news: The proposed Turtle Walk under highway 27 in Florida has been deleted from the stimulus package. It has been determined that a net fence could be constructed for $15,000 as opposed to the original $3,000,000 allocated for the construction of the "Turtle Walk" beneath the road. Die-hard "Turtle Walk" supporters still contend however that the original project would have employed 100 workers whereas the fence project would only employ 10 workers and for a shorter period of time. Mean while the turtles are SLOWLY going about there business oblivious to the outcries from both sides of the debate.

This is a story long overdue. Dateline Elpaso, Texas: ground was broke today on a new border security project. This will entail digging a 2000 mile long trench 15 feet deep and 100 feet wide from Brownville, Texas to San Diego, Ca. The dirt from the massive trench will be trucked to New Orleans and used to raise the hundreds of miles of levees surrounding that city. Additionally, once the trench is filled with water as estimated 200,000 alligators will be relocated from Florida (where they have become a nuisance) to the 2,000 mile long moat. This massive project which will solve the border problem, the Florida alligator problem, and the levee problem of New Orleans is the brain child of a young 12 year old girl from Liberty, Mississippi. President Sarah Palin is awarding the young girl "The Presidential Medal of Freedom", the nations highest civilian honor, at a special White House ceremony this coming Monday. The ceremony will be attended by former presidents Bill Clinton, H.W. Bush, and G.W. Bush. Vice President Jeb Bush will also attend the event. Former president Barack H. Obama is currently vacationing in Kenya and will not attend.

Obama and Moby Dick

Moby Dick

"Call me Ishmael" Perhaps the most famous opening line of any great novel. And we all know the story of Moby Dick, some however may not understand the meaning. The fateful quest of Captain Ahab, his search for the great white whale, Moby Dick. Obama has boarded the Pequod and has set sail to find his arch enemy, Individualism. He is joined not by Queequeg, but by Rahm Emanuel with harpoon in hand. We all (Ishmael), watch the journey, and wait to see the final battle. The battle that will end only when one is "no longer". We read the lines as the Pequod slips through the changing currents and tides of onrushing events and wonder where the chase will end. In Moby Dick, Ahab is caught by fate, a fate that was set long before he sailed; and Obama is following the same course. A course laid down many years before he took the helm, but a course he is destined to follow to the end. The lines from the harpoon entangled Ahab, and the webs of deceit Obama is spinning will trap and destroy him in the end. The great Moby Dick of American individualism will be free again.

Tomorrow's News Today - 1

As I write events are happening all over the nation and the world and as they occur they pass into history. This news of the moment quickly passes into history and its only value is for those who comment on it and those who would learn from it. Nothing can be done about the past, because that is what last hour's news is, the past. So like the weather man I will look at the past only to discern what the future may hold. In other words, "Tomorrow's News Today". Just a brief look over the horizon in hope of seeing history yet unmade. My crystal ball, may at times be clear and other days cloudy. But unlike the carnival fortune teller I will not charge for my glimpse into the future. Events may take time to materialize and predictions may seen at first wrong, but in time events will either validate or disprove such revelations. Finally, a word of caution: the future one sees is always guided by past experiences and basic under-lying values and principles---objectivity is sought, but never achieved and only the fool can claim to have reached such a goal. For a man, is just a man, and not capable of such a thing. Tomorrow's news will be a daily post for a while.

After a lengthy stay on the island of Cuba at the exclusive American resort better known as GITMO or Club Med to some; four Islamic terrorist (known by most as Muslim Uighurs) members of ETIM (East Turkestan Islamic Movement), were moved to the tropical isle of Bermuda and given an apartment over looking a nearby beach. A female reporter, Cathrine Herridge from FOX News was able to locate the men and as she approached them and offered her hand in friendship they jumped back in fear of being touched by an unclean female---some kind of religious thing, it seems.

No details of the arrangement for their release to Bermuda are available at this time. It has been revealed however, that a somewhat larger group of about 14 is slated to go to the south sea island of Palau, a virtual paradise. In return for accepting these Uighur Muslim's the government of this tiny Pacific island has been promised $200 million (about $14,000,000 per terrorist), but what's 14,000,000 to the Obama administration who spends $3,000,000,000,000 as if it were pocket change. Let me point this out, the original cost of closing GITMO and bringing all the terrorist to the U.S. was $80 million. But now we are offering $200,000,000 to a tiny Pacific nation to take 14---where is that money coming from? Does congress have to approve? Does Obama have a slush fund? Many, many questions here and few answers coming from the administration. I strongly suspect some money went to the government of Bermuda, just how much remains to be seen.

Many on the left are pointing out the Uighurs are not terrorist, because they did not want to blow us up. That part is probably true, they only want to blown-up Chinese woman and children and came to Afghanistan to learn how to do just that. To me that makes them terrorist!!!

Texas Cattle Feeders Association has received a lot of concerned calls from area farmers and ranchers.It's generated a huge number of phone calls and interest on behalf of our members and just agriculture producers as a whole, said Ben Weinheimer, TCFA Vice President. In a time where commodity prices are low and the overall economy is tough... fees as much as 30 to $40 thousand for a modest ranch operation are the last thing the industry wants to hear about.Profitability is as low as it's been in a long time and so any additional costs at this point would be disastrous, said Weinheimer. The fate of the cattle industry closely ties into the future of Amarillo's economy. More than a quarter of the nation's fed beef comes from this area... totaling about a $15 billion impact on the economy when you count feed, sales and salaries. But do not count your losses just yet. ProNews 7 spoke with the EPA Friday and they said that they are not proposing a cow tax... that is not in their authority. They are simply looking into, among other things, the possible greenhouse gas regulations under the Clean Air Act. But that is little comfort to Weinheimer. Potentially with the right statutes or changes to statutes and changes to regulations there sure enough could be something like a "cow tax" in the future, he said. If the cattle, dairy and hog industries see new fees that also indirectly affects the local economy... because it will mean prices going up on your grocery bill.

If this "tax" actually happens then our groceries will go up. Our local economy will crumble. I am not only talking in Texas but also wherever cattle producers, and dairy farms exist. The EPA, under the leadership of the Obama administration, seems to have a blank check to do as they see fit to protect us all from the apocalyptic events of imminent global warming, no matter what the cost is to the average American. Smaller cars mandated by the feds, cap and trade is on its way, and now cow farts.

My good friend who lives right down the street and is somewhat of an inventor, has several patents on some rather obscure items. Recently he has been feverishly working in his garage after reading a similar article on "cow emissions". The other day he came by and showed me the product of his months of work, some of which was done under the cloak of secrecy. The device was small, about the size of a baseball and enclosed in a small black plastic case. Don, my friend, trembled as he showed me the small black box and began to explain how it worked. This device, he explained would burn off those terrible greenhouse gases before they melted the polar caps. The main component was a small computerized CH4 detector. For those who are not literate in chemistry CH4 is methane, the primary gas in cow flatulates. Don had installed a small spark igniter on one end of the device that would emit a spark when activated by the CH4 detector. Excited, he continued, saying that when installed near the rear end of a cow and CH4 was detected the activation would occur and a sudden flame would appear at the cow's anus opening. Quickly he let me know he had already tested the unique device on his brothers nearby farm. He then described how he installed the black box and how he had followed the cow around the barnyard for several hours waiting for the moment, and at one time thinking he had failed. But then he face glowed as he described the great event. Suddenly, and without warning a long flame shot from the cow's butt. Don said the cow was startled, but quickly regained her composure and continued as if nothing had happened. However, the same couldn't be said for the bull who was following along behind sniffing as bulls often do.

Yea, the above paragraph is fiction, but the story is meant to point out something that many often overlook. The law of unintended consequences. Don had a great idea, but he forgot about the bull.

Progressive Racism: The New 40 Acres and a Mule

Progressive racism is being spewed from the university campus, from the halls of congress, from the MSM, from the high schools, and from the many hate sites on the Internet. Sadly it is all done in what many have referred to as a post racial America. Those on the American left cannot afford to let this issue die, they cannot just let it fad away. They have far too much invested in this issue. In the major metropolitan areas without this issue they would lose tens of thousands of voters. Those on the left are race-baiters and play the race card in every debate. Its always there fall back position when they begin to lose their arguments on radical positions they can defend no other way. Many of the white leaders of the so-called progressive movement (I say so-called progressive, because this movement is not new its very old and anything but progressive--it is regressive) have nothing, nothing at all in common with the black masses. They see the black man as a means to an end and will toss him aside when it become expedient. The black vote has always been cheap to buy. Liberal politicians have known this for years. The 40 acres and a mule ruse has evolved over the years to the food stamp, to affirmative action, to free medical care, and of course the all encompassing "free lunch". What has been the cost of all these free hand outs? Little to the politicians (they use others money to foot the bill); but to the black man these give aways have cost him his dignity, and his self-esteem, and to many his political freedom. Many blacks feel an obligation to vote for these unscrupulous political leaders who have promised much, but delivered only misery to the poor black. Keeping the black man down is the goal of many leaders on the left, for its only in keeping them down that they will continue to have their support.

The progressive left finds its support among the poor and those elitist who feel responsible for the economic conditions of poor blacks. Sadly, this assumption by some progressives is correct, in that their policies have led to this situation among the poor blacks. Those well-intended elitist on the left are caught in a vicious cycle from which there is no escape. They offer a hand out, thinking it is a hand up. The reality of their position escapes them. But there is another group on the left, a far more dangerous one. These leaders know the reality of there positions and all they are seeking is power, power at any cost to achieve their ends. Our current president falls into this group. Obama will use what means it takes to increase his power, he will quickly toss aside anyone, any group who stands in his way as evidenced by his abandonment of a life long friend and mentor, the infamous reverend Wright.

Finally, racism does exist and will always exist. Racism is found on the right as well as on the left. The big difference in contemporary America is that many on the left encourage racism and rely on the "race card" to advance their political agenda. They will continue to keep the black man down, not because they feel that's where he belongs; but because is doing so they have created a cause for those naive whites who follow their progressive beliefs. And the poor black, well he will remain a victim. Not a victim of racism from the right (as was the case for many years in the south and throughout the nation); but a victim of a far worse form of racism by those who seem to be offering a hand up, while at the same time keeping the poor black down for political reasons. The present day Democratic party in now the old Republican party of "forty acres and a mule".

Divorce Agreement

Dear American liberals, leftists, social progressives, socialists, Marxists and Obama supporters, et al: We have stuck together since the late 1950s, but the whole of this latest election process has made me realize that I want a divorce. I know we tolerated each other for many years for the sake of future generations, but sadly, this relationship has run its course. Our two ideological sides of America cannot and will not ever agree on what is right so let's just end it on friendly terms.. We can smile and chalk it up to irreconcilable differences and go our own way.

The Separation Agreement: Our two groups can equitably divide up the country by landmass each taking a portion. That will be the difficult part, but I am sure our two sides can come to a friendly agreement. After that, it should be relatively easy! Our respective representatives can effortlessly divide other assets since both sides have such distinct and disparate tastes.We don't like redistributive taxes so you can keep them.You are welcome to the liberal judges and the ACLU.Since you hate guns and war, we'll take our firearms, the cops, the NRA and the military. You can keep Oprah, Michael Moore and Rosie O'Donnell (You are, however, responsible for finding a bio-diesel vehicle big enough to move all three of them). We'll keep the capitalism, greedy corporations, pharmaceutical companies, Wal-Mart and Wall Street. You can have your beloved homeless, homeboys, hippies and illegal aliens. We'll keep the hot Alaskan hockey moms, greedy CEO's and rednecks. We'll keep the Bibles and give you NBC and Hollywood . You can make nice with Iran and Palestine and we'll retain the right to invade and hammer places that threaten us. You can have the peaceniks and war protesters. When our allies or our way of life are under assault, we'll help provide them security. We'll keep our Judeo-Christian values. You are welcome to Islam, Scientology, Humanism and Shirley McClain. You can also have the U.N. but we will no longer be paying the bill. We'll keep the SUVs, pickup trucks and oversized luxury cars. You can take every Subaru station wagon you can find. You can give everyone healthcare if you can find any practicing doctors. We'll continue to believe healthcare is a luxury and not a right. We'll keep The Battle Hymn of the Republic and the National Anthem. I'm sure you'll be happy to substitute Imagine, I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing, Kum Ba Ya or We Are the World.We'll practice trickle down economics and you can give trickle up poverty your best shot.Since it often so offends you, we'll keep our history, our name and our flag. Laws and Common Sense

Most elected officials at the Capital and in the various State Houses feel that each time they are in session they must past new laws, I suppose the reasoning is to show their constitutes they have accomplished something, and thus earned their continuing support. This seems to be their thinking and it is fallacious. This idea goes across the political spectrum and those on the right are guilty as well as those on the left. The left however, is the greatest participator in this ritual at the various legislative sessions. A large number of our elected representatives are attorneys and attorneys have a way of complicating the obvious--its in the nature of the profession. Most people after having read a legal document find themselves scratching their head. The law-writers in an attempt to clarify often muddle the issue leaving the final interpretation in the hands of the courts and unelected judges. Law-makers are doing us a dis-service, by writing confusing laws, and by flooding us with new and often unneeded laws.

Attorney-legislators need to stand aside and let common sense prevail. No attorney, no legislator can write common sense into law and attempting to do so is foolish. Forces within the legislative system such as special interest will always have a part in writing even the simplest law, no matter now well intentioned the author. The pen and the quill simply cannot put some things to paper. Common sense can be applied, but common sense cannot be enacted into law without losing its true meaning.

This is a thorny issue, but I feel one worthy of debate and discussion. My simple common sense mind cannot grasp the complex issues involved here. Maybe an attorney could do a better job.

The Great American Revolution

The REVOLUTION isn't coming the revolution is upon us. Many conservative Americans are reveling from the April 15 "Tea Parties", a first step but nevertheless a pathetic and impudent reaction to the massive power grabs now taking place in Washington. They compare themselves to the revolutionary patriots who dressed as Indians and tossed bundles of tea from British merchant ships into Boston harbor--that was an action that caught the attention of those in power in the British Parliament. These "tea parties" will gain no such status. These parties will bear a closer resemblance to a ladies knitting circle than to the revolutionary patriots at Boston.

Most on the right are applauding these parties and eagerly anticipating these "momentous" events, thinking they will stir the American people to greater actions and impress their leaders in Washington, and bring about a ground-swell in public opinion that will that will somehow halt the insanity sweeping the nations capital. Sadly, this will not be the case. We on the right have been polite and reasonable for too long while those on the left have been rude and at times even violent. They perceive us as being weak and unwilling to truly stand up for our values. I've come to the conclusion they are right. We discuss, we debate, we seek compromise, we are polite, and

I must say now we are wrong and we are losing. We are losing our country, we are losing our heritage, we are losing our children's future, we are losing our backbone, in short we are losers. Those on the left want to destroy all we hold precious--our religion, our individuality, our pride in country, our children's identities, in short all of our most cherished believes and values. They want to install what they believe will be a new socialist Utopian society. One in which individuality will be crushed, one in which the state will indoctrinate our children to accept the new reality, one in which religion will be banned or become a tool of the state, one in which debate and dissension will not be tolerated, one in which guns will not be allowed--except for those in the ruling elite class, one in which all individual freedoms will be regulated and controlled by the all powerful state. And the pathetic answer we on the right have is "tea parties". Those on the left are laughing at us. Unless millions march on the capital and demand those in power listen nothing, nothing will happen. And even then, that may not be enough. Those on the left are willing to fight, willing to go to jail, willing to practice civil disobedience, willing to shout down the opposition, willing to do most anything to gain their goals. And we will have "tea parties". I keep coming back to these because in my eyes they seem so pathetic and comical. I'm sorry to say we can no longer practice descent in our normal passive way---it simply doesn't work.

We live in a time of the 24 hour news cycle and thousands of people gathering on a mall with anti-government signs just doesn't get the attention of a left-leaning news media. It will take more, much more---it will take thousands of acts of civil-disobedience, it will take the burning of pictures of the leftest leaders, it will take offensive posters carried by marchers, I fear it will take more that most on the right are willing to give. These things are not in our playbook, have never been in our playbook , but a new reality is upon us. Conservatives the revolution is upon us, we didn't want it, we cringe from it, its not in our nature. The fight must however, be joined. If not, then all of those brave Americans who have gone before us and fought for our freedoms will have died in vain. We must resist, we must fight---not so much for ourselves, but for those we love, and the values and traditions we cherish and respect. Sadly the enemy is not across the vast oceans, but the enemy is among us and this enemy is determined to destroy those things we hold most precious, this enemy will stop at nothing and his goal is domination, control and extermination of those ideals he finds repugnant. The ideals of God, country, and yes even freedom as we know it.

There are those among us, the "the sunshine patriot, the fair weather soldier" who will never see the approaching dangers and will sit idly by waiting and waiting and hoping things will get better. Things will get better only when we take a real stand, something more than speeches on the green. Words many times fall on deaf ears and only louder sounds can pierce the silence.

No I'm not calling for revolution, all means must be exhausted before that time comes, but let us at least toss the tea overboard as those in Boston Harbor did several hundred years ago and see if this, if this act will accomplish our goal.

Liberty and freedom are precious commodities and must be fought for and many generations of Americans in the past have answered the call when the time came, and answered the toll of the Liberty Bell. Now is such a time and ask not for "whom does the bell toll". For those on the greens at Lexington and Concord heard the call and saw the approaching danger of those in power in the form of the "brown Bess" and the "Redcoat". And when the smoke had cleared the deaf ear was pierced by "the shot heard round the world".

World's Greatest Banana Republic

Recently Hugo Chavez commented on Obama and his continuing steps toward nationalization of various parts of the U.S. economy: the automotive industry, the banking system, to some extent the insurance companies, the proposed government administration of health care, and finally the move to bring many utilities under government regulation and ultimately government control. The government is also studying the possibility of a "value added tax" in other words a national sales tax. Others, on the left, are seeking to limit free speech on the nations airways by using the FCC to further limit and control what goes out over the various radio stations throughout the United States---these efforts are aimed at those commentators on the right. Things are quickly spinning out of control. There are parallels to this in recent history. Hugo Chavez in Venezuela and Salvador Allende in Chile. Most are somewhat familiar with Chavez, but some may not remember Allende in Chile. Let me just summarize: Allende came to power in 1970, he was a Marxist socialist. He quickly nationalized the large industry in Chile, the Copper production industry, he then proceeded to install government administration over the nations health care industry, he began to create many so-called public works programs. When the nation began to experience rampant inflation, he instituted price control and defaulted on Chilean international debt. Under Allende and his Marxist-social government the GPA of Chile was a negative 5.6 percent. Allende's reign ended with a military coup in 1973, as it became obvious he would win in the next presidential election. Chile is now a staple and free democracy with a relatively free economy. We are quickly moving down the road of Chile in the early 1970's and the dangers of that road are many and most refuse to believe that this is happening. They have their heads in the sands of ignorance. They think that no matter what this nation will, "long endure". They see our past problems and subsequent victory over them. They think the ship can always, "right itself". They continue to believe in the American way, "as it slips away". They are living in a, "a fool's paradise". We are on our way to becoming the "World's Greatest Banana Republic". Sadly, it may take this to right the ship again.

Obama makes a mockery of John Kennedy’s eloquent statement of American principle:

U.S. Soldier Killed By Islamic Terrorist on American Soil

Recently the killing of Dr Tiller in Kansas sparked outrage in the media and rightly so. It also brought about a swift response from Obama and the DOJ. And federal agents were quickly dispatched to beef up protection around abortion clinics across the United States. Going almost unnoticed was the killing of an American soldier and the wounding of another: Pvt William A. Long ,24, of Conway, killed and unarmed outside a recruiting office in Little Rock, Arkansas; Pvt Quinton Ezeagwula 18, of Jacksonville, Arkansas, unarmed. On this the silence from the Commander-in-chief and the DOJ is deafening. And the response of the MSM is barely noticed. Have any federal agents been sent to protect unarmed military recruiters throughout the United States or are the abortion clinics the only ones worthy of protection. The President is not only MIA on this issue, but as I write this post he is boarding a plane for Saudi Arabia and then to Egypt to give another one of his grand speeches. This is a clear act of Islamic terrorism directed against unarmed American troops on American soil and not an isolated incident as some have claimed. The POTUS is neglecting his duty as commander-in-chief and putting many other recruiters in harms way by not dispatching protection for these brave unarmed recruiters throughout the United States. Potential terrorist now see an opening here and if the President fails to act NOW then any further attacks on military personal at recruiting posts will rest at his door and his door alone. The FBI has been doing a fabulous job tracking the activities of potential Muslim terrorists that exist within the United States and they've stopped a number of attacks before they could be carried out. However, they can't stop them all, as evidenced by one Abdulhakim Muhammad, age 23, of Little Rock, Ark.

Abdulhakim Muhammad was a simmering time bomb of hate, filled with anti-american, anti-military aggression. This much he has made clear by his own statements and we know he was recently in Yemen where he was using a Somali passport. Muhammad admitted shooting the two young soldiers yesterday for what he believed American soldiers had done to Muslims.

In 2003 a Muslim convert and U.S. soldier,threw grenades into three tents at a 101st Airborne command center in Kuwait, killing one fellow serviceman and wounding 15, three of them seriously. The motive was he didn't want the US military to attack fellow Muslims. Born Mark "Fidel" Kools, Akbar was re-named when his mother remarried and converted to Islam. Just before trial Akbar smuggled a pair of scissors out of a conference room and then asked to use the restroom. When the Officer removed Akbar's restraints he then stabbed the officer in the shoulder and neck with the scissors before being wrestled to the ground by another Officer. This attack was not allowed to be admitted as evidence by the army judge, during sentencing.

Currently at least 22 Muslim paramilitary training compounds exist within the USA that are managed by a radical Pakistani cleric suspected of terrorist activities within Pakistan. The M/O of the organization is to recruit black male converts from within US prisons. Upon release they are given religious and paramilitary training at the Muslim compounds that stretch from coast to coast, two are located in California. The compounds and their so-called religious activities are protected under the Constitution. A number of their members have been returned to prison for parole violations. They remain under close watch."

Extremism

While commenting on various post this evening I found a great one dealing with extremism at Social Sense titled "Right Cross" this post is thought provoking. The following is a summary of my comment.

Extremist and extremism are often misused and confusing terms to the casual political observer. Often the MSM is more likely to use the term when describing people on the right. Is actually comes down to the position of the person using the term. Someone on the far right might easily think of himself as moderate and someone who is a so-called moderate might be branded an extremist by many on the far left. In reality extremism and moderate have little meaning if one does not know the true position on the person using the words. This is a necessity in order to evaluate the position of someone. When I hear these words moderate or extremist I always ask who is saying that and what is their position. By using these words one is more likely branding himself than others, with what ever label he uses.

Today's extremist could be tomorrows moderate or today's moderate could become tomorrows extremist. Its not how others look at you and your positions, but rather how you look at yourself and your views that really counts. Things are always changing and the old and new orders will always be in conflict and will continue to replace each other as part of this protracted conflict. So in reality the words have little meaning other than to accentuate one's own position.
