Meximerica: Enough is Enough

After hearing they want to sing the National Anthem in Spanish - enough is enough. Nowhere did they sing it in Italian, Polish, Irish (Celtic), German or any other language because of immigration. It was written by Francis Scott Key and should be sung word for word the way it was written. The news broadcasts even gave the translation -- not even close. NOT sorry if this offends anyone because this is MY COUNTRY.
I am not against immigration -- just come through like everyone else. Get a sponsor; have a place to lay your head; have a job; pay your taxes, live by the rules AND LEARN THE LANGUAGE as all other immigrants have in the past -- and GOD BLESS AMERICA!
Calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant' is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist'?![]()
Rights and Sands in the Hour Glass
While commenting on an article by James on Right On concerning the Constitution and gun rights I began to think about all the rights I have seen slip away over the years. The following is the comment I left on "Right On":
The constitution is clear on gun ownership rights, but slowly over many years the state and federal governments have steadily and methodically chipped away at those rights as they have with other basic rights that we once had. Rights that the young don't even miss because they never experienced them. Sometime I see our rights, our freedoms, and our liberty's slipping away like sands in the hour glass. Once that freedom, that right is gone it does NOT return. It's gone forever and all the complaining and the moaning will never get it back. As the sands of the hour glass get lower and lower one can more easily see the change--the movement seems quicker although the rate remains the same. It's just that the remaining freedoms and rights are fewer and the loss of even one is sorely missed and more become aware of the approaching emptiness. If we are not careful this emptiness will be filled by something that is totally alien to our American way of life, something that will repress individuality, something that will stifle our remaining values, and something that will crush our children's future.
Socialism Sucks

Human nature simply negates all possibilities of people working harder with no rewards. The reason socialism would never survive is because human nature makes people want to be better at something than another person, hence the "class struggle. He is a fictional character who represents the working class of the time and he wakes up in the twentieth century to an utopian society. Socialism will never work because people are not robots. Lenin drew on Marx ideas and advocated them which resulted in Leninism. In his ideal society there was no economic classes. His answer was an industrial economy that was owned by the people where they shared the wealth. There is no incentive for responsibility where as capitalism offers more money to those who take on more responsible tasks.

Power or Money "Root of all Evil"
by Ron Russell"Road to Hell" Paved with Socialist
It takes a leader from one of the so-called new states of Europe to take a stand against the socialist ideals sweeping the United States and western Europe. These newly liberated states have recent memories of economies controlled entirely by a totally totalitarian system. These countries still remember the bitter taste of radical socialism, something that Obama and his leftest followers in this country have never tasted. One of these leaders had the "cajones" to stand up and tell Barack that this out-of-control spend fest was crazy.Czech Prime Minister Mirek Topolanek, current head of the merry-go-round European Union slammed Obama’s economic policy of running up debt like there was no tomorrow. Topolanek is concerned about the liquidity of global markets if the U.S. continues to swallow up every dollar it can find. And can you blame him? It doesn’t take a finance expert to see that only an act of God would produce the conditions that would even suggest the possibility of paying any of this money back, and if it doesn’t continue to stream in…the U.S. collapses like a house of cards.
Unless it was off the record, although there were those in the European Union that questioned Topolanek’s choice of words, nobody actually came out and said he was wrong. That’s because he isn’t wrong. If the United States goes down the toilet, this guy knows we’ll take Europe with us. Ahh, the benefits of a global economy. Then again, a global economy would theoretically be predicated on a level playing field. Cheap labor, currency manipulation, and a cap and trade scheme that will hamstring U.S. companies doesn’t look level to me. But if you’re manufacturing in a quasi-socialist world economy, the U.S. would have to-it, and must bring its standards down to a level while others rise to meet it. Then we could all live happily at the bottom together. And that, is a road to hell…

Two Faces of Obama
by Ron RussellI generally, like to poke fun at this new occupant of the White House thinking like most that this is only another president and that things will change after the next election. But I'm beginning to face the stark reality that this maniac, this madman, could in just a few years destroy what its taken this country hundreds of years to build. I suppose the final straw for me was the new budget plan. Obama with his twisted understanding of history and his alien social and economic ideals, many of which he learned from the years he spent in the pews of Pastor Wright's church; will in the end not only change this country, as he has promised, but will destroy the very fabric of this great nation. He plan represents a threat far more formidable than any invading army could mount. Great nations generally fall from within, their fate sealed by the common masses who fail to see or understand the onrush of events. Events that are obvious to a few and invisible to the many. Such is the position we find ourselves in now. This man, this misguided fool, must be stopped. I beg, I plead, I pray that each of you raise the alarm---the enemy is not at the gates, but in the house; its not the Russians, its not the terrorist, its not the Iranians--its a charming, likable, young man who wants change. Unfortunately, its a change that will destroy this nation and its way of life. All despots think theirs in the road to greatness for their peoples and this leader is no different. No doubt about it, he is a leader and his followers love and adore him and they wait with eager anticipation for his next words and the next words come and flow over the masses and they believe. They compare him to past great leaders and look to him to provide them with a better life. He promises more and more and the people believe and revel in the changes he trumpets. Changes that will give birth to a new nation, changes for a new millennium. A casting aside of the old order and the establishment of a new Utopian-like society where all the needs of the common man will be met. He tells the masses that our problems are so great that only government can solve them and he will lead us to greatness again. His vision of American is a dark one, remember he sat in Pastor Wright's pews for years and was completely indoctrinated by his message of an "evil and corrupt" nation. He disavowed him when it suited his purpose, but gradually we are seeing his true feeling about the Pastor's teachings emerge.

Marijuana and Obama's Utopian Dream
Recently, I came across a post on Sugar n Spice concerning a recent interview Obama gave to "60 Minutes". In the interview Obama is seen giggling and laughing and is called on it by the reporter, to which he replies "well you need a little gallows humor" or something to that effect. Glad he mentioned hanging and not some conservative---know that would have created something of a fire-storm. Sugar mentioned in her post that Barack looked and acted like he was high---the giggles, laughs, etc. Guess the truth will never be known---his actions did raise some eye-brows, however.Wednesday, April 8, 2009
Revolution
The REVOLUTION isn't coming the revolution is upon us. Many conservative Americans are preparing for the April 15 "Tea Parties", a pathetic and impudent reaction to the massive power grabs now taking place in Washington. They compare themselves to the revolutionary patriots who dressed as Indians and tossed bundles of tea from British merchant ships into Boston harbor--that was an action that caught the attention of those in power in the British Parliament. These "tea parties" will gain no such status. These parties will bear a closer resemblance to a ladies knitting circle than to the revolutionary patriots at Boston. Most on the right are applauding these parties and eagerly anticipating these "momentous" events, thinking they will stir the American people to greater actions and impress their leaders in Washington, and bring about a ground-swell in public opinion that will that will somehow halt the insanity sweeping the nations capital. Sadly, this will not be the case. We on the right have been polite and reasonable for too long while those on the left have been rude and at times even violent. They perceive us as being weak and unwilling to truly stand up for our values. I've come to the conclusion they are right. We discuss, we debate, we seek compromise, we are polite, and I must say now we are wrong and we are losing. We are losing our country, we are losing our hertiage, we are losing our children's future, we are losing our backbone, in short we are losers. Those on the left want to destroy all we hold precious--our religion, our individuality, our pride in country, our children's identities, in short all of our most cherished believes and values. They want to install what they believe will be a new socialist Utopian society. One in which individuality will be crushed, one in which the state will indoctrinate our children to accept the new reality, one in which religion will be banned or become a tool of the state, one in which debate and dissension will not be tolerated, one in which guns will not be allowed--except for those in the ruling elite class, one in which all individual freedoms will be regulated and controlled by the all powerful state. And the pathetic answer we on the right have is "tea parties". Those on the left are laughing at us. Unless millions march on the capital and demand those in power listen nothing, nothing will happen. And even then, that may not be enough. Those on the left are willing to fight, willing to go to jail, willing to practice civil disobedience, willing to shout down the opposition, willing to do most anything to gain their goals. And we will have "tea parties". I keep coming back to these because in my eyes they seem so pathetic and comical. I'm sorry to say we can no longer practice descent in our normal passive way---it simply doesn't work.Tuesday, April 7, 2009
Guns and the Lefts Distortions
"It Was Controlled Pandemonium
I was on the copy desk, far from any action, but many things are indelible in my memory.
We were living in Largo. I was about to leave for my shift, which was afternoon-evening, when a neighbor came running to the door, shouting for us to turn on our television. That’s when I learned he had been shot, but not that he was dead.
I had to leave for work and there was no radio in the car. I took East Bay Drive, U.S. 19 and Haines Road to the Allendale area, and then drove through Allendale to Fourth Street. When I reached the corner, I saw a funeral home with its flag flying at half-staff, and I didn’t need a radio.
The St. Petersburg Times newsroom was in controlled pandemonium. I don’t recall whether I handled any assassination copy that day; more likely, I was editing state and local news.
But I was standing at the teletype when the first flash came in that a suspected Marxist, Lee Harvey Oswald, was being held in connection with the shooting. Times Publisher Nelson Poynter was standing nearby when I announced that.
His face fell.
"Oh, no," he said. "I was hoping it would be a right-winger."
In the days that followed, many of us helped ourselves to souvenirs: the half-tone engravings of John Kennedy that had accumulated in the library files. There came a time when we needed to illustrate articles that referred to the time, and we had to have new half-tones made because the ones already made had been so depleted.
We were expecting our second child any day. Names had already been chosen, but there was no doubt that should it be a boy, his name would be John. That’s how Daniel became his middle name when he was born a week later."
The key line in Dyckman's statement is "I WAS HOPING IT WOULD BE A RIGHT-WINGER." There was no way to spin this into a right-wing conspiracy because of the over-whelming evidence to the contrary. The left however, did manage to get stronger gun-control laws as a result of the events in Dallas. No more mail-order guns. One last note. I got my first gun a 22 rifle, when I was 11 years old---purchased it through the Sears and Roebuck Catalog. One of the happiest days of my life was when the mail carrier delivered it to the farm.

Electing Dumb People to do Dumb Things is Dumb
by Alan CarubaJust how close is the United States to being ruled by executive order? It’s a question worth asking given the flurry of executive orders issuing forth from the Oval Office.
It is perhaps a cliché, but it has long seemed to me that Republicans and, in particular, conservative Republicans, were the grownups while Democrats, liberal by definition, were the children; the ones that insist on instant gratification and for whom no lie is big enough to cover up their long history of failures.
Just over half of those who voted in the last election were so enthralled with the oratory of Barack H. Obama and the thrill of electing the first African-American President to office that they heard whatever they wanted to hear. I grant that the Republican candidate, John McCain, was no match for Obama. His voting record and general political views were so out-of-step with most Republicans that vast numbers of them stayed home rather than cast a vote for him.
The media played its role by elevating Obama to such heights he gained the mocking moniker of “the Messiah”. Time magazine put his face on the cover some thirteen times during 2008. An inauguration preview made it fourteen as 2009 began.
It helped, too, that the aptly named “Bush derangement syndrome” was in full throat to position George W. Bush (who could not run for a third time) as the cause of the economic bubble that burst toward the end of his second term.
When Bush first took office in 2001, he warned against “strong repercussions in financial markets”, but no one was listening. After 9/11 the nation’s entire attention was focused on the threat from al Qaeda and, thereafter, the war in Iraq. In 2003, when Bush Secretary of the Treasury, John Snow, testified in Congress that something had to be done about the cascade of failed mortgage loans being purchased by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, Barney Frank (D-MA) who is now the chairman of House Financial Services Committee, dismissed his warnings saying there was no crisis.
Efforts by Republicans in 2005 and 2006 to staunch the bleeding at Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, two government sponsored enterprises, were defeated and, on September 7, 2008, both were put into conservatorship, another word for bankruptcy.
Prior to and ever since the Crash of 1929, the Democrats have seen a recession or depression as an opportunity to build party power. The latest Obama executive order strengthens union power which has long been in decline and for very good reasons. One of those reasons explains why General Motors is soon to be in bankruptcy.
Meanwhile, we have a Democrat President and a Democrat controlled Congress. As much as I have urged anyone who will listen to email, call, and fax their Senator or Representative to tell them to vote against the so-called “Recovery Act”, it is likely just a waste of effort. They like their predecessors in the FDR years are hell-bent to repeat the same errors that prolonged and deepened the Great Depression.
The voters have elected dumb people who will do dumb things and there is no foreseeable end to the pain and misery that will follow in their wake.
The federal government, the cause of the present crisis, needs to recuse itself from further mindless borrowing and spending if there is any hope to avoid the train wreck, but, that said, we have the wrong people running the train.
The United States of America is in peril of becoming the biggest banana republic the world has ever seen.

CO2 Lies that will Destroy America
by Alan CarubaMy friend, the internationally famed climatologist, Dr. S. Fred Singer, calls them “the CO2 wars.” It is the last ditch attempt by the Greens, under the aegis of the Obama administration, to declare carbon dioxide a pollutant and thus open the door to its regulation.
Singer says such regulation “would be the equivalent of an atomic bomb directed at the U.S. economy—all without any scientific justification.”
I am increasingly of the opinion that the main goal of the Obama administration through CO2 regulation, exploding deficits, punishing taxation, and any other means at their disposal is the destruction of the economy and the complete control of impoverished Americans.
This is an administration that exists to impose an Orwellian socialist utopia after the smokescreen clears.
When it comes to CO2, Obama, his so-called science advisors, and the Environmental Protection Agency are all lying. It is governmental gangsterism.
As reported in The Wall Street Journal, “The Environmental Protection Agency has sent the White House a proposed finding that carbon dioxide is a danger to public health, a step that could trigger a clampdown on emissions of so-called greenhouse gases across a wide swath of the economy.”
Here are a few things you need to keep in mind about carbon dioxide:
CO2 is not a “pollutant.” It is a trace gas necessary for all life of Earth because it is essential to the growth of all vegetation.
Without CO2 all vegetation—grasses, forests, jungles, crops such as wheat, corn and rice—dies. Then herbivores die. Then you die.
The CO2 produced by human industry or activity is a miniscule fraction of a percentage of greenhouse gases. It constitutes a mere 0.038% of the atmosphere.
The oceans emit 96.5% of all greenhouse gases, holding and releasing CO2 as it has down through the millennia of Earth’s existence.
In past millennia, CO2 levels were often much higher than the present.
CO2 levels rise hundreds of years after temperature rise on planet Earth.
The Sun is the primary source of warmth on Earth. Rising CO2 is an effect of global warming, not a cause.
Both global warming and cooling are natural phenomenon over which humans have no control.
The Earth is not currently warming. It has been cooling for a decade and likely to continue for at least another twenty years or longer. If a new Ice Age is triggered, it will last at least 10,000 years.
Polar ice is now at record levels and still growing.
If you had a choice, would you prefer a warmer or colder Earth?
And consider this, if only the United States was to significantly cut its CO2 emissions, how much effect, if any, would that have in a world where most other nations, including China and India, have no intention of doing so? Both are exempt from the UN Kyoto Protocol. The answer is zero!
The EPA proposal is not about science. It is about power and it is about money. As the Wall Street Journal noted, “The administration has proposed a cap-and-trade system that could raise $646 billion by 2019 through government auctions of emission allowances.”
The federal government, though the aegis of the EPA, would have control over the destinies of an estimated 13,000 facilities if this regulatory obscenity were to become law.
“Coal-fired power plants, oil refineries and domestic industries, such as energy-intensive paper, cement, fertilizer, steel and glass manufacturers, worry that increased cost burdens imposed by climate-change laws will put them at a severe competitive disadvantage to their international peers that aren’t bound by similar environmental rules.”
Such industries would flee the United States as the most toxic place on Earth in which to do business.
This would be the fulfillment of the Obama administration’s goal and explains in part why this new assault on science, industry, and common sense has been put forth by the EPA.
Message in a Bottle

SO, DID YOU SEE A SEXUAL ILLUSION?
You might be surprised to know not everyone sees "sex" in this picture. Research has shown that young children cannot identify the intimate couple because they do not have prior memory associated with such scenario.
What they will see instead are the nine dolphins.
Additional note: This is a test to determine if you already have a corrupted mind.
If it's hard for you to find the dolphins within 3 seconds, your mind is indeed corrupted.
Death of Common Sense
An Obituary printed in the London Times -Interesting and sadly rather true.
Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was, since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape. He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as:
- Knowing when to come in out of the rain;
- Why the early bird gets the worm;
- Life isn't always fair;
- and maybe it was my fault.
Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don't spend more than you can earn) and reliable strategies (adults, not children, are in charge). His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well-intentioned but overbearing regulations were set in place, Reports of a 6-year-old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate; teens suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch; and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his condition.
Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the job that they themselves had failed to do in disciplining their unruly children.
It declined even further when schools were required to get parental consent to administer sun lotion or an aspirin to a student; but could not inform parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion.
Common Sense lost the will to live as the churches became businesses; and criminals received better treatment than their victims.
Common Sense took a beating when you couldn't defend yourself from a burglar in your own home and the burglar could sue you for assault.
Common Sense finally gave up the will to live, after a woman failed to realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot She spilled a little in her lap, and was promptly awarded a huge settlement.
Common Sense was preceded in death, by his parents, Truth and Trust, by his wife, Discretion, by his daughter, Responsibility, and by his son, Reason.
He is survived by his 4 stepbrothers;
I Know My Rights
I Want It Now
Someone Else Is To Blame
I'm A Victim
Not many attended his funeral because so few realized he was gone. Do you remember him ?

Cure for Conspitation
If you are bothered by occasional or frequent constipation, look in the mirror and repeat the following phrase three times in succession when symptoms occur:"My financial and personal well being are totally in the hands of Barack Obama, Joe Biden, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, Tim Geithner, Rahm Emmanual, Barney Frank, Chris Dodd, and Al Gore"
There is no need to thank me for this advice, I'm just doing a public service.

Obama's Revolution
The “changes” being wrought by President Barack Obama will have a profound effect on the nation’s future.Barack Obama campaigned for the presidency on the central theme of “change.” American voters bought into his message, but now, after almost three months in office, Obama’s “change” has turned into more of a revolution.
It’s a revolution that is indeed changing America and will affect citizens for years to come. He is doing this with acts of executive privilege, suspending or changing rules of legislation in Congress and adding controls and regulations. He is taking control of private businesses and calling for legislation on energy, automobiles and many other facets of daily life in America. Our foreign policy is being changed. He and his congressional cronies have jammed through legislation calling for massive debt. They are telling businesses what they must pay their employees; they are forcing banks to accept federal bailout money, then telling them how to run their banks.
The “changes” go on and on, and Obama makes it clear he is just starting.
How long will the public allow Obama and his congressional henchmen and henchwomen to take away freedoms and exert greater control over America? At first, many of his defenders tried to soft-pedal his “changes,” but now, even some of his most ardent supporters are starting to urge him to slow down, with some saying they intend to start voting against some of his efforts.
Granted, there are those on Wall Street and elsewhere who have abused their positions and privileges, and, in some cases, they should be punished. But Obama’s manner of punishment is far too broad and deep, “punishing” millions who had nothing to do with the excesses and bad practices of a few.
What is to limit the president and his government from taking control of any business in the country if he judges it is too large to fail?
If he and the government have the power to take over a particular business, what is to keep him from taking over businesses and/or telling all kinds of businesses what they can pay employees? How about telling Americans how to set their thermostats or what color of car they can buy?
It’s reaching a dangerous stage that will change America for decades, in domestic matters as well as in America’s position and stature abroad.

The Big Gun Lie
As usual the media elite have their own agenda and the truth is not part of it. It is stupefying when you think about it. I never had the numbers on the weapons in Mexico used by the cartels, but I knew that most of their weapons were of the fully automatic type. Weapons that are not available here on the open market. In fact weapons that are illegal for most Americans to own. Simple me, I knew these things, but the so-called reports who supposedly have many sources cannot even figure this out. I also realized that many weapons were coming up from central America. The anti-gun lobby along with the drive-by media have an agenda here and truth to the American people is not high on their list.In Reality, Nearly Ninety Percent of Mexican Cartel Weapons DON'T Come From U.S.
Apparently, America’s love of firearms has not rubbed off on our Mexican neighbors quite as much as the mainstream media led us to believe.
It has been widely reported that 90 percent of the weapons used in the Mexican drug cartel wars come from America. As it turns out, that statistic is simply incorrect. According to the figures obtained from ICE and ATF officials by Fox News, only about 17 percent of the weapons recovered from cartel-related crime scenes in Mexico actually originate in the United States.
Correspondent William LaJeunesse in an April 2 report (first aired at 12:27PM, then a shorter segment with an ATF agent at 2:55PM:
According to the Mexican Attorney General, in the last two years, they've recovered about thirty thousand, twenty-nine thousand weapons in Mexico. They have submitted about only one-third of those to the United States for tracing. And according to testimony that we have from the special agent in charge, in Phoenix, of the ATF, only about six thousand of those were successfully traced, and about ninety percent of those came from the U.S. But basically, the bottom line here is that according to our figures, which we got from them, eighty-three percent of the guns that have been recovered in Mexico at these crime scenes are not from the United States.
One might ask how the United States Secretary of State might have made such an error in her math.
LaJeunesse explains:
Well one reason is, it's basically the sampling issue. Number one, Mexico is finding guns at the crime scene which may have no markings at all. They may be clearly Chinese or Russian weapons, and so they are not submitting those to the United States for, quote, tracing. A U.S. weapon has a serial number on it, a manufacturer on it, it says where it is made. So clearly, Mexico is not going to give over weapons to the U.S. for tracing which clearly don't come from here. We had an ICE official, special agent in charge here in Phoenix tell us, and I'm quoting from him, “Not every weapon seized in Mexico has a serial number. Those are not submitted. Only we trace weapons with U.S. markings.
So to summarize, ninety percent of the traced weapons that Mexico decides to give back to us come from the United States – a sample which doesn’t include the vast majority of the weapons found. Seventy-three percent outside the mark is very selective truth-telling by the mainstream media.
Sun Tzu was never wiser than when he said “All warfare is based on deception.” So when Ben Tracy (CBS News), Andrea Mitchell (NBC News) and myriad hosts from CNN all claim that the Mexican drug war is the fault of lax gun laws in the United States, you know they're all reading from the same playbook.
Obama's Road
Capitalism
Socialism
Totalitarianism
Revolution
Run-a-way inflation will be the catalyst, the
spark, that ignites the great fire that will
sweep across the nation. Attempts will be made
to control it. The now, all powerful central
government, will mandate draconian
measures including wage and price controls.
These and other measures will prove
impudent in face of the onrushing events.
Incidents of discontent will at first be sporadic
but will continue with an almost geometric
growth in there numbers and intensity. Local
authorities will quickly find themselves unable
to maintain order and will call on the state
officials for help. The National Guard will be
sent into those areas most affected by the
ever increasing violence. The large urban
areas will bear the brunt of these quickly
escalating events. The Guard will soon
find itself powerless to control things.
The disturbances will be too numerous and
wide-spread. In desperation, the
President will order regular army units into
the most seriously affected regions. These
measures will meet with success in those
places where large numbers of troops can be
concentrated, however by this time the
violence has spread to the suburbs
and to some rural areas. The situation is
now, OUT-OF-CONTROL! The military leaders
will be the first to recognize this and will take
action against those in power, who they
now hold responsible for the cascading
violence now sweeping the nation.
The revolution is over and a military coup has
installed a new civilian government.
Unchecked this could be Obama's road to
REVOLUTION.
